Geotextiles form one of the two largest group of geosynthetics. Their rise in growth
during the past fifteen years has been nothing short of awesome. They are indeed textiles
in the traditional sense, but consist of synthetic fibers rather than natural ones such as
cotton, wool, or silk. Thus biodegradation is not a problem. These synthetic fibers are
made into a flexible, porous fabric by standard weaving machinery or are matted together
in a random, or nonwoven, manner. Some are also knit. The major point is that they are
porous to water flow across their manufactured plane and alos within their plane, but to a
widely varying degree. There are they at least 80 specific applications area that have
been developed; however, the fabric always performs at least one of five discrete
functions :
Applications
Separation
Reinforcement
Filtration
Drainage

FAQ:
Q: What kind of payments does jenor support?
A: T/T, L/C, Cash are accepted.
Q: Do you charge for the samples?
A: Accordeing to our company policy, the samples are free, we only charge the freight fee. And we will return the freight fee during the next order.
Q: Can you produce according to customers' design?
A: Sure, we are professional manufacturer, OEM and ODM are both welcome.
Q: Do you have other products?
A: Yes, please check the pictures:
- Q: How do geotextiles help with sediment control?
- Geotextiles help with sediment control by acting as a barrier that prevents sediment from being washed away or eroded. They stabilize the soil, reduce erosion, and allow water to pass through while trapping sediment particles, thus preventing them from contaminating water bodies.
- Q: How do geotextiles prevent soil contamination?
- Geotextiles prevent soil contamination by acting as a barrier between the soil and potential contaminants, such as pollutants or waste materials. They prevent the migration of contaminants into the soil by providing a physical barrier that filters out harmful substances and allows only clean water to pass through. Additionally, geotextiles can enhance the stability and strength of the soil, reducing the risk of erosion and preventing the spread of contaminated soil to surrounding areas.
- Q: Can geotextiles be used in retaining wall reinforcement?
- Yes, geotextiles can be used in retaining wall reinforcement. Geotextiles are often used as a separation and filtration layer in retaining walls to prevent soil erosion and improve their stability. They can help distribute loads, reduce soil movement, and enhance the overall performance and durability of the retaining wall system.
- Q: Concrete platform this time to water conservation?
- I can specialize in the production of geotextile materials
- Q: How do geotextiles help with soil reinforcement in mechanically stabilized earth walls?
- Geotextiles help with soil reinforcement in mechanically stabilized earth walls by providing a strong and stable base for the soil. They distribute the load evenly, reducing the risk of soil erosion and increasing the wall's stability. Additionally, geotextiles improve the soil's drainage capabilities, preventing water buildup and further enhancing the wall's structural integrity.
- Q: Now geotextile price quota how?
- 2017 geotextile price cheaper than last year, the current price of raw materials is relatively stable production. Geotextile classification of many, you ask more general, so no way to give you a detailed offer. Different technical requirements are uneven prices, but the overall price has come down, and is now the lowest price since 2017.
- Q: Are geotextiles resistant to hydrolysis?
- Yes, geotextiles are generally resistant to hydrolysis. Geotextiles are engineered materials made with synthetic fibers, such as polyester or polypropylene, which are resistant to the chemical breakdown caused by hydrolysis. This resistance allows geotextiles to maintain their strength and durability when exposed to moisture and water over time.
- Q: How do geotextiles improve the performance of landfills?
- Geotextiles improve the performance of landfills by serving as a barrier that prevents soil erosion and filters out harmful substances. They also provide reinforcement and stability to the landfill structure, reducing the risk of slope failure or settlement. Additionally, geotextiles promote better drainage and help control leachate flow, improving overall landfill efficiency and environmental protection.
- Q: Are geotextiles resistant to rodent damage?
- Geotextiles are generally not resistant to rodent damage.
