- make sure to set a routine. my son started sleeping in our bed at around 9 months - not because i wanted him too, but where we were living and the people we were living with, we couldn't get heat in the apartment so he stayed with us for body warmth and for the blankets. well, after we moved he never wanted to be in his own bed. hopefully something better works for you, but i would have to lay with him in his bed until he fell asleep, from 1.5 - 3.5 years old. it made for long bedtime routines. well, then we got bunk beds, and i sat in the room for a few minutes, and we had a baby so i made up excuses, mommy has to go feed the baby, etc bc (lie) daddy left to go to the store, and little by little he goes to bed on his own. now we have a routine set, and sometimes he trys to fight it, but for the most part, its 5pm calm down time - eating bathing relaxing with a show or a game on the computer bed at 7pm and that's the same for him and his 22 month old brother.

- if you have a full bed and extra mattress, i suggest you build your own. get a metal bed frame on wheels and put a mattress on it. slide it under your existing bed if it is tall enough. if not you may have to put risers under the legs of your bed. also you may have to buy a shorter full bed mattress to go underneath. i have actually never seen a full over full. so you may have to build your own.
- Q:Been struggling with bed bugs for months!!!I use DE power all over my floor and in the cracks of the wall. I wrapped my bed and box spring in plastic and used 4 plastic bowls filled with oil under my bed posts and I still have bites!! I shampoo and sweep my carpet daily. I spray my room down with bed bug spray. I feel like I had less bites when my bed wasn't wrapped up. What am I doing wrong? - Bed frame and under and in the night stand and furniture and even can be in the closet. The bed needs to be taken apart and cleaned. A zip up mattress cover needs to be used and left on over a year. Rubbing alcohol will kill the bugs when put on them. It will stain wood. You are fighting hatching eggs. The bugs not only crawl out of the walls under the baseboards, they crawl through the electric outlets and any tiny opening. Exterminators take the covers off the electric outlets and put something behind them. I would put tape over them and plug the child proofs plugs in the sockets because I would be afraid I would get shocked. After washing clothes and anything and drying them, they should be put in plastic big bags and tied up to keep the bugs out of them.

- Good Grief! After muddling through that paragraph-long run-on sentence, I think I can give you an answer. Get the d____ bed. Even if someone else has the same exact bed, it will be okay because you will have different bedding and furniture. So the beds will look different. Further, what you and/or your friend like today may be something you can't stand next year. Your tastes will change. So if you want the bed, get it. A bed is not worth the drama, believe me. In the great scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal.
