Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. An O-ring that is inserted in the fitting ends of the pipe ensures a leak-proof connection. Press fitting system is the trend of pipeline industry. It is widely used in cold and hot water supply, heating supply, fire protection, medicinal gas, industrial petroleum pipeline system etc.

- Q: My computer running XP as made my control panel just dissapear. I tried going to run and typing control.exe and it says This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. I am the adminitrator!!!! I have Windows one care and it also keeps popping up with trojans that I tell it to clear all. - Use PVC reducers and/or bushings to get from the larger pipe to 1/2. Get a can of primer to use with the PVC cement (first clean the pipe fittings w/ primer, then glue).
- Q: Okay so my 6 yr old son is a bed wetter and put him in disposable diapers at night. I too was a bed wetter at night growing up and my parents had me in diapers at night. I just got reaquainted with an old friend and she has a 5 yr old that is a bed wetter but refuses to use diapers or pull up diapers on him. - You can still find polybutylene or Quest fittings at many mobile-home supply some regular plumbing supply houses still has some fittings , there are polybutylene to PEX adapters available You can try swagging the pipe but if it is a bit brittle it may split

- Q: Has anybody any problems with their Iridium shields flaking? It seems that the mirrored finish and color are starting to flake off around the bottom edge and the tab you use to flip the shield up with. - No, the glue won't work. Just go to Home Depot and get the PEX fittings. They will attach PEX to CPVC.
- Q: Surely there is a lot of infrared light (black body and other) around at all times, how does the sensor differentiate this ambient light from the remote signal? Also, how is it that I don't need to point my remote directly at the sensor, I can have the remote in a bookshelf pointed away from the sensor and the remote still works. - i have had several root canals and not a bit of pain it is not any worse than getting a filling. They give you Novocain and drill a small hole to the root. Once they drill through the root, all pain (previous to the dentist visit) and discomfort will be gone.

- Just change the end fittings where they attach with a 3/4 to 1 adapter. Ideally, you should use a sweat fitting, but since you aren't *soldering friendly* you could use one of the newer styles such as what in in the link. That one is a *Sharkbite* fitting that you can get at the Home depot, but Lowe's carries their own version called *Gatorbite* and there are other non soldering ways to do it as well, such as compression fittings as shown in the second link.
