Press fitting system joins pipe without welding or bolting. The components fit by crimping through the use of a special pressing tool. Q:what industries commonly use control system?: Bring stickers for whenever they are good. Some for boys and some for girls. I babysit a ton of kids and all of them love when i give them stickers!! Also, a good idea for somthing to do is bring thick string and cherios and make a delish necklace/bracelet etc with the cherios!! The kids will love it and be preocupied with making the necklaces for 1-maybe even 3 hours! Q:Just got a Smoke detector. Will it go off if it smells my cig smell?: 1/2, 3/4, 1 inch, etc. are all trade sizes. This is not the true dimensions of the pipe. For example: for a 1/2 inch pvc electrical conduit, you will need to have a 7/8 inch hole. The schedule refers to the wall thickness of the pipe. For PVC electrical conduit, schedule 40 is the standard for most applications. However there is also a schedule 80 (thicker wall), sometimes referred to as extra heavy wall. There is also a schedule 20 (only approved for certain specific uses). Hope this helps clear things up.

I appreciate all of the help, thanks very much.: You can buy 1/2 PVC pipe and appropriate fittings to make a base of the desired size (the one I built was about 8' across and about 7' tall). I started by buiding a base from a piece of 1 x 12 lumber 8' long (for the base). I screwed a one gallon bucket to each end of this board. Next, I took a section of the PVC pipe with a tee on one end (to anchor the pipe in the plaster) and poured plaster of paris 1/2 way in each bucket (the pipe was laid in at an angle facing the opposite side-with the pipe touching the bottom outside edge of the bucket and the top of the pipe about an inch away from the top inside edge of the bucket). I allowed the plaster to set up, then I cut the exposed pipe to about 4 above the top of the bucket and glued a sleeve on the end of the pipe. Next, I took and assembled two pieces of pipe (I don't remember the actual dimension) to form the arch to the desired height (I just shoved the ends of the pipe into the open ends of the exposed sleeves - no glue). To transport, remove the arch (with balloons tied on) and carry as a separate piece with the base. It is much better if you tie the balloons on after you set up the arch. Q:how are electromagnetic waves detected???: Annealing the copper pipe and copper fittings relieves stresses that have accumulated during the manufacturing process.
