But my sim works in my old phone? Is it the new phone?Any ideas on what i can do ?: The phone might be locked onto a certain network, so it wont accept sim cards that are on a different network. Ask the person you've brought the mobile from what network it was on, If you cant get in touch with the person you brought it from take it to your local market and try and see if there's a mobile phone stall to unlock it for you. Then you shud be able to put any sim card in the phone.

Q: Hello, I recently bought my wife a new mobile phone from Argos in the U.K. the same model of phone I bought before from phones4u was already unlocked but unfortunately I was unaware that Argos pay as you go phones are locked to the network in this case 02.
