Q: I have a mobile phone, an LG CU515. For as long as I've had it, I've experienced disruption of service. At random parts of the day, in any weather condition, I will hear a slight beep, and then open my phone only to read, Smartchip not allowed MM#The phone isn't shutting itself off, I just can't make or receive any calls, or text messages. WhenI'm in the process of an Instant Message, I'm immediately signed out. I've found powering it off, and then back on, fixes the problem. I miss calls and texts if I don't have the phone around me, as I don't hear the slight noise that always sounds, when these distruptions occur. I always get the messages that are missed, once I power the phone off and on.I've had the phone for at least 4 months. I've talked to 4 different 'experts' at ATT, but they're clueless. I'm very simple. I don't ask for much, but this is quite bothersome. Can you advise?: it might be time to get a new phone.

The Rumor is crap, and the Curve, in my opinion, sucks compared to an Android phone. If you want a cheaper contract service, go with Sprint (who owns Virgin's towers). You'll pay about the same as going with Virgin (70/mth with 450 minutes, Unlimited Txt, Unlimited Web, Unlimited Sprint TV) and you'll not have to worry if you forget to put money on your phone.because if you forget with Virgin, your phone will cut off. Also, phone wise, the Intercept will run you as low as 20.00 while with Virgin, it'll be more like 250.

I love tmobile and sprint phones.: No, you can only use Virgin Mobile phones on Virgin Mobile. I've tried to put other phones on it but they never let me. I hate their phones too. Maybe you should just go with a pre paid with another provider, like T-Mobile flex pay. It's pretty much pre paid, but you have to pay full retail price for the phone, but it's worth it. :) Or ATT Go Phone. I don't know how that works really since I went with the Flex Pay, but either way you'd be getting a much better phone. :)

Q: Alright so I just got this new virgin mobile phone (and my parents won't buy me a new one so don't tell me to get a new one) and it's messed up!!! I have to keep the battery out of it! When i put the battery in and turn it on it goes to the hello screen and then the virgin mobile screen and then just cuts off!! About 10 seconds later it will turn on by itself and repeat the process! Can someone tell me what to do?: u can call virgin get a new as long u borough it this years
