Q: I highly doubt it. China is probably making most of it's own products and using them. So why must the U.S. import most of China's products? Just saw on the news a report on China's economy woes that stem directly from America's economy woes. It's suppose to be so bad for China manufactors right now, that they were quot;forced to close 450 companies there. Orders from the U.S. are said to be down 70%. That's a huge hit. They spoke with one company owner there who's considering just shutting down too. He's said to be losing quot;50 K a MONTHquot;. Just shows how much the U.S. is importing from China every day. So why can't the U.S. grow a brain and say hey, we should be putting our own people back to work by producing and using most of our goods right here in the U.S. . Q: Is it practical for electric motors in heavy cargo haulers (18 wheelers) & earth movers move heavy loads?: Traction motors are used to move heavy loads due to the nearly unlimited torque they produce. Unfortunately they require big diesel generators to power them. Battery technology has not yet advanced to the point of making practical electric powered heavy cargo haulers.

Q: Last week I was driving down a local street at night and it been raining all day.I was going well below the 30 mph speed limit. (about 20-25)An excavator was responsible for doing what's called a quot;cutquot; in the road for the local water company.A cut is about 2 ft. wide, stretches across the road and normally is like driving over railroad tracks when gravel is packed in.They used metal plates to cover the road on one side, but didn't use anything on the other and left it exposed.With all the rain all day, it created a chuckhole about 3 ft deep.There were no warnings IE: flashing barricades, construction signs, etc.I hit it directly and it caused $300 to my suspension to my car.When I reported it to the city they were out there that night with stone to fill and a barricade.I talked to the excavating company owner about it.I was civil and the owner, but he was a complete jack ***.I hadn't even asked for anything. I was going to offer splitting the cost.Should I sue?: You might want to contact the city...since it was their contractor, they may pay out on an administrative claim (and then ding the contractor on his fee) rather than making you file suit. You could also go with your insurance company and then they'd go after the contractor or city on a subrogation claim.

Q: I am interested in buying a mini excavator what kind of trailer ,the excavator will weigh about 5500lbs give or take to modle i get. will my 250 be able to tow this. ill have to get a trailer break system put in.
