Description of excavator:

The two main sections of an excavator are the undercarriage and the house. The undercarriage includes the blade (if fitted), tracks, track frame, and final drives, which have a hydraulic motor and gearing providing the drive to the individual tracks, and the house includes the operator cab, counterweight, engine, fuel and hydraulic oil tanks. The house attaches to the undercarriage by way of a center pin. High pressure oil is supplied to the tracks' hydraulic motors through a hydraulic swivel at the axis of the pin, allowing the machine to slew 360° unhindered.

The main boom attaches to the house, and can be one of several different configurations:

Most are mono booms: these have no movement apart from straight up and down.

Some others have a knuckle boom which can also move left and right in line with the machine.

Another option is a hinge at the base of the boom allowing it to hydraulically pivot up to 180° independent to the house; however, this is generally available only to compact excavators.

There are also triple-articulated booms (TAB).

Attached to the end of the boom is the stick (or dipper arm). The stick provides the digging force needed to pull the bucket through the ground. The stick length is optional depending whether reach (longer stick) or break-out power (shorter stick) is required.

FAQ of excavator:

Q: What are the main functions of excavators?

A: Excavator is the machine that can excavate the the soil of various types forcefully and then using hydraulic system a hydraulic force is generated and utilizing this force bucket is exchange with some other attachments then excavator can be used for multi-purpose. For exemple pile diver, hydraulic jack hammer etc...

Q: What are the main type of excavators?

A: Crawler excavator; Wheel excavator;

Q: What is the application of excavators?

A: The excavator has increased the work speed tremendously. It is used extensively in numerous fields, including the following:

•Wood removal in forests

•Normal grading work and landscaping

•Cutting of brushes with attachments

•Demolition of structures, and removal of debris

Q: My son just turned 3 and he is obsessed with the movie Up. We took him to see it and ever since he has been asking for balloons and running around yelling quot;up up and away!quot; He has a cardboard box quot;housequot; that he quot;fixesquot; with his plastic tools, last week he took one of his balloons and asked me to attach it to the top so it was like the Up house. Then he ran around all day yelling quot;So long boysquot; out the window. Too cute!
My two year old nephew has a mind of his own too. He knows every type of construction vehicle created by man. Excavator, Front end loader, backhoe, cement truck and if you say look see the excavator he will well let you know what it really is. He also knows everything created by John Deere like the gator and stuff. His mom takes him to demolition sites so he can watch these machines go to work. He has never said the word mad. Instead he asks him mom if she is angry. The other day he just started teeing on the floor so his mom got upset and he said momma are you little angry or big angry. Now that he is fully potty trained he looks at his number 2 and lets us know what it looks like. Such as an ice cream cone, a snake, a mushroom. Every week he comes up with something new! I guess it is good he hasn't seen up yet!
Q: Proper operation of excavator excavation
1, smooth operation methodDuring the operation, the stability of the machine can not only improve work efficiency, prolong the life of the machine, but also can ensure the safety of operation (put the machine in a flat on the ground); the drive sprocket at the rear side of the front side than in good stability, and can prevent the final drive from the impact of external force on the ground track; the wheelbase is always greater than the track, so toward the good working stability, to avoid the lateral operation; to keep close to the mining machine, in order to improve the stability and mining excavator; if points away from the machine, due to move the focus of work is not stable; lateral excavation is than mining stability, if the mining point away from the center of the machine body, the machine will be more stable, so mining point and center of body should maintain a proper distance, so that a balanced and efficient operation.
Q: What are the steps to building a patio? Here is my assumption, maybe you can add to it or tell me I'm crazy.1) Use a Sod Cutter and clear away 2quot; of Sod.2) Lay Down Pea Gravel3) Lay Down Sand4) Place the Pavers, Bricks, whatever down5) Cover the patio with sand6) Use one of those vibrating things that look like a lawn mower without wheels to pack down the sand in between the bricks.7) Sit back with a Mint Julip on your new patio.Where did I go wrong?gt;
THE MOST IMPORTANT TASK IS TO REMOVE TOPSOIL !, BY HIRING A MINITURE 2.5 TON EXCAVATOR IE;HITACHI ETC,FROM HIRE CENTRE, LIKE hirequip .nz, HAS HERE IN N.Z, AND DIG DOWN TO CLAY. ...(IF YOU LAY ON TOPSOIL, IT WILL GET BOGGY AND SETTLE,WHEN WET) DIG A 6 INCH WIDE TRENCH AT 2 INCH DEEP AND POUR A CONCRETE NIB WALL (optional) AROUND PERIMETER....15 INC HIGH....TO HOLD GRAVEL AND KEEP TIDY......INC PLUMBING PIPES/ELECTRICS AND DRAINAGE FOR FUTURE OUTDOOR KITCHEN ETC. FILL TO DESIRED HITE WITH PEA GRAVEL AND USE (60 TO 75 KG) COMPACTOR TO PACK DOWN....OPERATE IN A CRISCROSS PATTERN...UNTIL ROCK SOLID. ON FINAL 2 INCH OF 50/50 SAND AND PEA GRAVEL, MIXED TO 20 % WITH CEMENT (JUST SPREAD CEMENT IN SAND/GRAVEL MIX AND RAKE IN) THEN LEVEL OFF...THEN COMPACT HARD UNTIL PLATE COMPACTOR STARTS BOUNCING ON SURFACE.. AFTER THAT, CHECK FOR DESIRED LEVEL/FALL .....RAKE AND BALANCE UP THE AREA AND COMPACT AGAIN AS PREVIOUS,.., IF NEED BE UNTIL PERFECT..(THE CEMENT IS TO STABILISE BASE), AND USE COMPACTOR IN A CRIS-CROSS PATTERN,ALTERNATING DIRECTIONS AFTER EVERY 2ND ROUND AND NOT JUST COMPACT ONE WAY. THE RESULTS OF FINAL COMPACTION SHOULD BE ROCK HARD). ...THEN LIGHTLY WATER (ENUFF TO DAMPEN TOP LAYER OF SAND/CEMENT MIX) TOP TO SET OFF CEMENT BASE...... ONCE BASE IS SET IN 18 HRS..(HARD BUT DUSTY) THRO 4 MM OF FINE SAND OVER SURFACE THEN LAY DOWN.....OLD BRICKS,HARDWOOD RAILWAY SLEEPERS(AKA, TIES) OR WHATEVER?. THEN FILLGAPS WITH FINE GRIT OR GRAVEL, THE GRIT SHOULD FLOW INTO GAPS LIKE BIRDSHOT. NOTE, I CHOOSE ONLY TO USE THE ABSOLUTE MINIMUM OF SAND AS IT SHRINKS AND SETTLE WHEN DRY, AND AFTER PAVING I ALSO AVOID COMPACTING THE PAVERS ETC....AS IT WILL MAKE A TOTAL MESS, DUE TO BASE BEING SO HARD. THE ADVANTAGE OF GRIT OR SUPER FINEGRAVEL BETWEEN PAVERS ETC DOES NOT BLOW AROUND NOR SETTLE . ....TAKE TIME DON T RUSH... IF THIS FAILS.....GOOGLE....TAUNTENS OR CREATIVE PUBLISHING AND ORDER A PATIO BOOK.
Q: Can anyone please help me with my search for information on the computer/controler on a 1999 Hitachi EX100 tracked excavator. The unit has blown the surge protectors and some of the power transistors, but I need some more detailed information about the unit before I can carry out the repairs. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Oh my, I have nothing on this. I don't have a tracked excavator, except if you count my cat... she's an excavator of sorts, but she has paws, not tracks; tracks is what she leaves, cat tracks, but I suspect you are looking for something else.
Q: Do you have any proof of the ownership of the machine, like the car's pass?
Excavators do not belong to road vehicles, so there is no driving permit or driver's license. Only the special equipment inspection certificate issued by the safety management department and the operation certificate of the operators.
Q: Is/are there specific formula/s?
If you wanted to calculate the volume with some accuracy, you would graph the shape of the bucket and using calculus, find the area under the curve(s). Then just multiply by the length of the bucket. Or a quick and dirty estimate would be to multiply the length by the average width times the height of product carried in the bucket. Or, using what I call the Thomas Edison method, ram the bucket into a big pile of sand, dump it out on a surface and shovel it all into buckets of known size. Add 'em all up and you've got your volume.
Q: I am looking for any information on a 1987 dresser excavator 635b,ie: shop manuals, hydrolic schematic. I would even be intersted in speaking with some who has worked on this machine.Anyone know where to get this info?
problematic factor. lookup on to bing and yahoo. that will could actually help!
Q: I'm running a Blue/White/Green Ally Mill deck, and i'm considering readding black due to Sadistic Sacrament, Nemesis of Reason, and the fact that Hagra Diabolist + Rite of Replication Kicked = Game. Also, Agadeem Occulist might help and work well with Halimar Excavator. Green is just 4 Harabaz druid. I NEED to get rid of an Emrakul that one of my opponents has in his deck so I can mill him in standard. If I cant get him exiled from his library, then I need to get him in my opponents hand, or even as a last resort, on the battlefield from his library. Last time I milled him was he used a Polymorph and destroyed a creature and got Emrakul, since he didn't cast it, it was my turn and then I just milled him.PLEASE HELP.
Ravenous Trap When Emrakul hits the graveyard, Shuffle your graveyard into your library goes on the stack. Cast Ravenous Trap, which should be free if you're milling, and exile his graveyard. The graveyard gets exiled and then the graveyard is shuffled back in (which at this point is nothing). Or you could use Sadistic Sacrament to exile it from his library before milling.
Q: Hey everybody... Looking to build an underground house of sorts. Always wanted to tackle a project like this. In Arkansas, what's a ballpark cost of having somebody dig a hole in the ground... 12 foot deep, 40X40 ft across? No transporting soil, just put it all in a pile nearby. Thanks in advance!
u need a front loader. call a excavator for estimates in ur area.
Q: where is can buy used construction equipment ?as: used cranes.used loaders ?used dozers ? used excavators ?good condition is Ok.
