Q:A 520 kg box sits 1.4 m from the left end. What is the tension in the right hand side wire? (g = 9.8 m/s2) ____________ Newtons
Because the scaffold is not moving, we can assume that the net Torque acting on the scaffold equals zero. Net Torque = 0 torque = Force x distance (d) Use the left end of the scaffold as the center point. This will eliminate the Torque caused by the left wire (d = 0, so torque = 0) There are now three forces creating torque on the scaffold. There is the weight (m x g) of the scaffold, at 3.5m from the left end. m1 x g x 3.5m There is the weight of the crate, located 1.4m from the left end: m2 x g x 1.4m These two torques are countered by the torque caused by the Tension (T) of the right wire, located 7m from the left side. T x 7m The sum of these torques is zero. (T x 7m) - (m1 x g x 3.5m) - (m2 x g x 1.4m) = zero solve for T T = ((m1 x g x 3.5m) + (m2 x g x 1.4m)) / 7m T = ((115kg x 9.8m/s^2 x 3.5m) + (520kg x 9.8m/s^2 x 1.4m)) = 1.58 x 10^3 N Hope this helps.
Q:I got my scaffolding approximately about 7 weeks ago maybe just a lil over, I want to know when is a good time to change the bar/take it out, I am keeping up with cleaning it 2 to 3 times a day with the saline solution, even though, it only requires to be cleaned 1-2 times a day to be fair though
9-12 months of healing time so 9-12 months until you change it. You should never change an unhealed piercing. Take it from someone who had to retire her industrial piercing from changing it too early, leave it alone until it is 100% healed.
Q:I got an industrial/scaffold piercing a few months ago and currently have captive bead rings in (The piercer put those in after he pierced it). The piercings are now healed enough for me to change the piercing, and I found an industrial bar on ebay which I'd really like to order. Only problem is, it has two choices on the gauge thickness and length, and I don't know which mine is.The gauge sizes available are 1.2mm (16g) or 1.6mm (14g) , and the length options are 32mm, 35mm, 38mm.Does anyone know which would be the best to get? Thanks.
Please ignore the the bigger the better idea. A longer bar can be as bad in an industrial piercing as a shorter bar can be. It really depends on what size you were pierced with...16g o 14g. Industrial piercings are typically done at 14g, 16g would be too small. The length depends on your anatomy...you really should go to a professional piercer to get the bar put in since your piercings aren't completely healed. That way everything can be 100% sterile and they will be able to fit the proper length of jewelry into your ear.
Q:Can anyone give a very brief description on all three scaffold scenes in The Scarlet Letter?
oh dang u have to read that story too ! man i had to read it and watch the movie ! so boring. What grade are u in ?
Q:Are the terms quot;nuclear matrixquot; and quot;nuclear scaffoldquot; interchangeable? I know that when we talk about DNA compaction we say that MARs on the DNA attach to the nuclear scaffold. I am wondering if the scaffold is just a specific part of the matrix??
For most purposes, they are interchangeable terms for the same things. Some people favor one term, some the other. The ones who favor matrix over scaffold or vice versa may have some argument as to why it is better or a difference but in general people use them interchangeably.
Q:It's when u get two ear piercing and there connected by a tongue ring. So question is where can I get it and how old? I'll be gettin it in Rhode island . Please anwser
I have one and im 12. Im from Tennessee.
Q:Can you identify Scaffold Grade Aluminum tubing by looking at it.?
The grade or type of Aluminum Alloy materials can not be identified visually because they are almost all the same in appearance. Normally these materials are marked with there Alloy number or designation like, 6061- T6, at certain intervals so that users can distinguish them.
Q:i have now got lumps on my scaffolding and i have searched and it seems to be normal.. i just want to know how to get rid? any ideas? :)
A scaffold piercing should not be done with a single long bar. Go back to your piercer, or to another one and ask them to change it to two short bars, this will take the pressure off the tissue. Then you should buy some cotton cosmetic pads. Fill up a mug with boiling water from the kettle, soak a cotton pad in the water, squeeze out most of the water but not all of it, have it as hot as you can stand and hold it onto the lump. The lump is likely filled with lymph and this will encourage it to drain. Do this for about two weeks. If the lump still hasn't gone away either go back to the piercer or go see a doctor. To the person that said it shouldn't be done with the two shorter bars. Yes, I know many people who have had it done with one bar and have been fine, but I know plenty of people with horror stories. My ear could not cope with the one bar and wasn't draining properly even with regular sea salt soaks. One of my piercings has migrated slightly but I'm confident that my piercer will be able to put my long bar back in for me.
Q:Disc scaffolding and bowl buckle scaffolding which kind of bridge support better?
3 products have a high degree of economic, the use of more convenient and efficient in use, only need to put the plug into the hole of the ends of the cross rod pole corresponding, and then knock tightly, the quality of the demolition ride fast and overlapping is the traditional scaffold cannot do. Its erection speed is 4-8 times more than 2 times that of steel pipe scaffold. Reduce labor time and labor remuneration, reduce shipping costs to reduce the overall. The joint is reasonable in structure, easy in operation, light and handy. Vertical rod weight than the same length of the size of the bowl buckle 6-9%.
Q:So, 12 Days Ago I Went To Blue Banana To Get Scaffolding On My Right Ear. Everything Went Fine And They Did A Brilliant Job. I Clean It With Sea Salt Soaks 2-3 Times A Day And Use A Bit Of Tea Tree Oil After To Help Sooth. I Was Just Wondering From People Who've Experienced This Piercing How Long It Took For Yours To Stop Hurting And The Time It Took For The Swelling To Go Down (: Thank You lt;3
It only really hurt for the first month-ish but was really tender for the first 3 months. After that, I barely noticed it was there. Goodluck :]
