These piercings tend to be a bit more costly, mine was like 55 dollars I think, but it's definately worth it. The thing with this piercing is that if you mess up the angles or if the alignment is even a little off, you're piercing won't heal and you'll just have to take it out anyway. Check online and call in and read reviews before you go anywhere, they have been many places being shut down in USA and Canada for being unsanitary! So make sure your safe because it can perminatly break your cartilage if it's done wrong and you can get mney infections some being deadly and some that leave perminate scars. Make sure it's done safely, sanitary and with a needle. This piercing is more commonaly known as a industrial by the way. 1st of it hurts they all do. This was my most painful piercing ever. Got it done when I was 13, a month before I was 14. Think of it this way: 2 holes being stabbed into your ear connected by a bar. You bump on the other is automatically affected. I would definatly rate it 8.5/10. It was soberly painful. Hurts for a while and healing process is annoying as ever. Worth it for me in my opinion.
