- OH thats what that is called. I thought it was just called industrial piercing. I had one. Be careful if you develop keloids. I got one and had to take it out, and tried to get it redone, and it happened again. Some times you are prone to it happening. Its where your body heals too much and creates too much scar tissue. Anyway it does not hurt that much and I am a huge baby. I would love to get the other side done... SOO bad. I got mine done at a tattoo parlor, and it was 80 dollars. And it takes 9-12 months because it is cartilage. And use Saline solution (contact lens liquid) thats what my piercer said, and use SEA salt soaks. not table salt. Sea salt which you can get almost anywhere. Good Luck!

- It's not SUPER dangerous, but I wouldn't recommend getting them at the same time.
- Q: Hiya, I just had a scaffold piercing on the 14th of this month.. and everything was fine but in the last couple of days my ear has become a bit swollen and has broke out into spots. The actual piercing is fine, I found some dry blood on the end of the piercing but I dismissed that as nothing. - You shouldn't need to see the doctor. You may be having a reaction to the jewelry. Doctors are not very knowledgeable about piercings. In fact, most that I've met are quite biased against them. Swelling with a scaffold piercing is normal. Sometimes it takes a few days to take effect. Go to your piercer and let them take a look at it first. If you're wearing surgical steel you may need titanium. Also make sure you're only using sea salt soaks twice a day to keep it clean. No antiseptic cleaners, witch hazel, alcohol, peroxide, antibiotic ointment, most soaps, etc.

- I want to say, that I use to work in construction. Different kind than you but still construction. I walked all day hefting cones around. (Anyone who has carried cones know how heavy they are and when you start carrying more than 5 at a time it is a real work out.) I have to say that when I was doing this I was in the best shape that I have ever been in, in my life. I'm not a professional but you came to Yahoo Answers and we all know that this is not the place that the pro's go to give out free advice. LOL But, if you look at the people who lived in the 1800's and before, did they go to the gym to work out, or did they work out at work? Whether it was in their own field or someone else's. Hence, therefor, I think you are probably getting a pretty good work out. I mean its not like you sit in front of the computer all day long.

- I'd leave it until its fully healed. If it isn't healed then if you get the dye in the holes it can make it infected. I had a cartridge piercing and dyed my hair and it got infected and I had to take it out and now I have a big lump on my ear. So wait until its healed before dying your hair.il its healed before dying your hair.
