- Q: Can you operate heavy machinery if your taking adderall xr?i just got a good job recently and i also got my prescription for adderall which i have been on and off since i was 13 or so .... it really helps me focus and with life in general ...but i was wondering that if an employer knew i was on this drug would i lose the job.... i'm going to have to tell them soon anyway seeing as how there are drug tests . i took a pre employment drug test and passed ...2 days later i received the adderall again (nothing to do with the test) and adderall shows up as an amphetamine . i just need some peace of mind about the situation i really don't want to lose this job.. if anything i feel i could operate the equipment better now . could they fire me for being on this?
- Yes, it is not a sedative.
- Q: i wouldn't believe this, but ....whenever my daughter becomes upset...things just stop working. has anyone else seen this phenomina
- No evidence for this. James Randi offers $1 Million to anyone who can prove paranormal phenomena. It's just coincidence, but if you think otherwise, get together with some others and produce a study and go for the $1M.
- Q: I always wondered if nerves sent signals to our muscles, if someone lost a leg or an arm, is it theoretically possible to attach someone's nerves to machinery and control it like a limb?
- There are already artificial limbs that work on that principle. Electrodes on the skin pick up signals from muscles in the limb stump or elsewhere on the body, and those are used to drive actuators in the limb. The technology is fairly basic at the moment - just a few movements can be controlled - but it will probably get better. It would be nice if we could attach directly to the nerve bundles in the arm or leg because there are thousands of motor nerves in there. The big problems are infection, stopping the nerve dying, and the body rejecting the electrodes.
- Q: Okay, so I'm looking through my bio textbook (not ap) and I come across this graphic about the HIV virus. There's a strip of text that talks about how the virus replicates itself:HIV is equipped with the enzyme reverse transcriptase.........Using the cell's **gene translation machinery**, this DNA then directs the production of thousands of viruses. The thing inside the **s . What is it? Cells don't have machinery! Why does the book call it translation machinery?
- It's talking about the complement of proteins used to copy the DNA and produce new viruses that are hijacked by the virus. Proteins are like little machines. They're the molecules that do everything in the cell.
- Q: what is the main functions of hydraulics in a machinery?
- I agree that it is to move parts and to transmit motive power. However, I submit that one of its primary advantages is that it can multiply force by using the effects of fluid dynamics. This is why you see hydraulics used in applications where very high loads are required (aircraft control surface actuation, bulldozers, moving huge counterweights, etc).
- Q: I need to have a partner in Faisalabad + Sialkot for Machinery Stock web Portal?
- 1. In which part of the globe is Faisalabad + Sialkot ? 2. What is meant by 'Machinery Stock web Portal'? 3. You say you need to have a partner. OK. Do you need our permission for it? 4. In what way can we help you? I mean what is your question for which you seek an answer?
- Q: can someone please explain to me what plant and machinery is and give me some examples and if possible relating to tesco for exmaple if they were to open a new store?
- Plant and machinery encompasses tangible resources that will lead to future economic benefits for a number of years. For organisations like Tesco plant and machinery may comprise refrigerators in their food stores.
- Q: Is there any way to gain pecks without weights or machinery, maby a technique, or just a simple way to exercise them without weights.thanks
- Sure there is. The best known exercises for the chest that doesn't require weights or machinery is the push up (or dip), whereby you lay face down on the floor and bring up your upper body up and down with your hands as often as possible. A variation to this is the parallel dip, whereby you place yourself between two bars or handles and dip in between. Even if you do use weights or machinery for chest exercise, the dip is a wonder full exercise to warm up your pecs with and the basis for chest development. It has worked for me. Good luck. AJ
- Q: Plz post the cost of plastic recycling machinery in india.
- Most companies sell these machines in orders (5-10 machine shipping). One single machine costs Rs. 185,000. By the way you have to buy the washing machine separately.
- Q: Machines do not complain and ask for a pay raise,no vacations or healthcare
- And machines do not buy products, serve their country, help one another, raise children etc etc You have a point. I estimate in 100 years or less ( about 1/2) the time of the industrial revolution from 1800-2000) robots, computers and advanced machines will do the majority of all work. unless there is a social and economic change there will be NO JOBS OR INCOME FOR ANY HUMAN but since corporations are people they can buy and sell to each other. ever see Star Trek? everything is provided by replicators and the only Capitalists in the universe are the greedy ferengi, whose sacred text is rules of acquisition and their only 'sin' is failure to make profit
