The crane is a horizontal-arm-rest trolley-amplitude upper-revolution hydraulic lifting type crane which has the effective amplitude of 50m and the maximum lifting moment of 438kN•m. The tower crane has the lifting height of 29m and the adhesion lifting height of 120m (2 magnification) during independent use.

Q: Where you stand on one leg with your hands up and out to sides.Isn't standing on one leg in a fight leaving you exposed and vulnerable? What techniques can you actually do from that stance anyway (other than jumping up and kicking with the leg that was on the ground like the karate kid).: Good question. Apart from the aspect of training, if you use it as a stance like in The Karate Kid in a real street fight or in a pub, it is comically useless. Movies are only movies and the moves are choreographed to captivate the audience's romanticism with Kungfu. But, having said this, the crane stance if used as a transitional move is a practical technique but both outstretched hands are either spear-hands or tiger-claws, not crane-beaks rising from the sides as in The Karate Kid. Or, if targeting only to the frontal opponent, both hands are forward, one fore and the other behind the front hand. The lifted leg is a frontal leg block either with the shin or knee. The knee must reach your solar plexus as a proper position. The whole centre-line is protected for an immediate instance, and is particularly used when there is a sneak attack from the front. But, don't ever use it as a stance waiting for an attack nor with any fanciful stances for that matter in real situations. To be effective with this technique, the person must be able to resist a frontal push while standing on one leg. To achieve this, he has to spend long hours on the 'horse-stance'. The common term for this single-legged stance is Golden Cockerel Standing On One leg, Jin Zi Du Li (my romanisation of Chinese is not to be trusted, but it sounds somewhat like that in Mandarin). As I said earlier, this is a transitional technique and really what follows after is the interesting part.

Q: I was wondering if this is possible. The wall we have designed is very close to an existing retaining wall. In order to properly form and waterproof the wall we would have to demo that existing retaining wall. My idea was to build it off site, waterproof it, and then crane it into its location. Is this possible? any similar methods? thanks: Possible but difficult. You could tell us what the wall is made of? Assuming stone, then you can't lift a stone wall unless you have a steel plate under it, as it will collapse otherwise. That gets complicated. Yes, you could build it with a 1/2 inch steel plate under it, and lift it that way, assuming it is not too long, and crane it into position, but you then have to slide the plate out without cracking the wall, also difficult. The plate is expensive, the crane is expensive. But what do you gain? You still have to demolish the old wall, you still have to build a new one, so what would you gain by building it somewhere else and moving it?

Q: I just made origami cranes and want to hang them up, each by themselves with just a peice of string....how should i go about doing this? how is it usually done?: TAke a needle threaded with a long piece of black thread, and make a small knot at end of long thread. Push the needle thru the middle of the crane's back and pull the thread all the way thru the hole till the knot catches. pull the needle off the loose end of the thread and make another knot on that end. take a push pin or thumb tack and push the pin thru the knot, then push the pin or tack into the ceiling. FYI, tape never works - I have tried. The black thread lets them flutter a bit, and is invisible most of the time. p.s. ask your parents if you can hang stuff from the ceiling first. they may not want you to do that since it will leave holes in the ceiling when you take them down.

Q: in the pit, i just lost my bike cuz johnny's crew tripped me with a chain. so no bike, and i only have my slingshot, skateboard, and some other useless stuff. dont say i can use my firecrackers or stik bombs cuz i dont have any in this pit. Also, my friend,... whatever his name is, he's there on top of the cars and junk and in the beginning he says something about a crane but i cant hear him. so everytime i pass under the crane... my conrtoller vibrates because the crane is supposed to pick up cars and such because its magnetic. so i already tried to see if when johnny goes under the crane it might pick him up because hes on a bike but it doesnt work. and i cant take him off of his bike and steal it either. i was thinking that would work because then whatshisface could pick me up with the crane.and when i try to hit him with my slingshot, it just doesnt work it would take me forever to knock him out with that puny little thing and he has a crowbar and he knocks me out so easily. HELP: What you have to do is knock out all of Johnny's friends who are above you shooting things down at you. Use your sling shot to knock them out. It will take 2-3 shots for each guy. This will allow your friend to run around to the magnetic crane and start it up for you. Once Johnny goes under the crane, he will lose his bike. Then he'll be on foot, and will be a little easier to kill. Try to make sure you keep as much energy as you can while you're getting rid of Johnny's friends (run around alot so what they shoot at you won't hit you), because you'll need the energy to finish off Johnny.
