Q: My house is two floors, though I think it was originally a one-story cape cod, and the upstairs was a single semi-second floor/attic. Anyways, the attic is now higher up, but the walls still slope on the sides. The air/heating unit is in the crawl space, duct work runs directly to vents/returns on the first floor, but for the second floor there are these two really large plastic(?) pipes that run up to the second floor from which I believe the ductwork is distributed. What are these called?
Vertical duct work. In general, if forced air, heated, cooled or even unconditioned, goes through it it is called duct work, unless it is an accessory / fitting such as a grille, diffuser, register etc. It's called duct work or vertical duct work if you would like.
Q: I'm on vacation right now with my family. I'm on my period and we're going swimming. All I brought was pads. Yesterday I forgot to wear one because earlier in the month it came really light and I figured that was it. But yesterday it went through my pants and came on full force. I don't think anyone noticed but I decided I needed to wear a tampon in my swim suit instead of a pad to be safe. So I found some in the cabinet. I put it in correctly and I'm currently in the car going to the lake. But the tampon is sitting inside me with the plastic tube in it and I can feel it it doesn't hurt but I can feel it. I removed the first plastic cover but there's another one? And it wouldn't easily come off so idk? It's tampax pearls and I'm nervous, I've always worn pads and not tampons.
No the plastic is not meant to b in you
Q: What is the maximum temperature that plastic tubes can withstand?
The maximum temperature that plastic tubes can withstand varies depending on the type of plastic used. However, most common plastics have a maximum temperature range of around 150 to 200 degrees Celsius (302 to 392 degrees Fahrenheit).
Q: How can the pipe support for water supply and drainage be calculated?
The water supply pipe support below DN32 is contained in the pipe and does not need to be calculated;
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for hydroponics?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for hydroponics. In fact, they are commonly used as a cost-effective and efficient option for hydroponic systems. Plastic tubes are lightweight, durable, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for circulating nutrient-rich water to the plants' roots in a hydroponic setup.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for fluid transfer in manufacturing processes?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for fluid transfer in manufacturing processes. They are commonly used due to their durability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion and chemicals. Additionally, plastic tubes offer cost-effectiveness and can be easily customized to meet specific application requirements.
Q: Our Kenmore washing machine #110.2970091 recently started leaking water from underneath. When we looked, there was a clear plastic bag/tube attached to a hole on the side of the tub that was leaking. The tube was taped up at the bottom and doesn't look like it's supposed to be there, the water in it looked like it was there awhile. We bought this used so it doesn't have a manual or warranty. If it is an overflow pipe, where is the excess water supposed to go? We have it hooked up to the laundry sink. Thanks
I would plug it. It is probably an overflow drain. If the washer gets too full it will probably not get the floor any wetter than if the overflow drain runs on the floor. If this happens open the tube up and run it into a pan.
Q: My husband and I hadm made steak and eggs for breakfast this morning with our left over steak from Christmas day. It was a large piece of filette mignon (sorry for the spelling if thats wrong) when he cut into his it he pulled.out a long clear plastic/rubber tube!! Clearly not part of the animal at all... it looks like.an air tube or something. About 2 inches long. . Its freaking me out! What should we do about this?? Infeel like we can't even trust if the meat we buy is all natural anymore.
It's probably a tube used to inject the meat with some sort of aging solution or perservative. NO the food we get these days in not hardly natural. It's a shame what our people has let happen in this country, all for the almighty $. You get what you pay for, if you want good natural meat and other food it will cost a little more money. And Americans still think Lincoln abolished slavery. LOL. This country needed more slaves. All Lincoln did was take the color out of slavery and give them the right to choose who they slave for. We are still slaves, 7.50 an hour is slave wages. Why? Who can afford good quality food on a budget of 7.50 an hour?
Q: How are toothpaste tubes made? I know that there's polyethylene coatings on aluminum, but how to they actually made the tubes this way? I know it can't be injection molding or blow molding.
why can't it be injected extrusion molding of the tubing followed by a bonding process?
Q: I need to bleed my brakes. A plastic tube is attached to the valve on the wheel. What is the proper size tube? It is a clear plastic hose or tube. I need the inside diameter measurements so that I can buy one at the hardware store.I use this tube to drain out the fluid. any one know offhand? Dodge Neon
ummm what plastic tube....ive never used one and ive done up into the 10s of thousands of brake jobs
