- I'm assuming that you have a 15 rim to install the replacement P215/70R15. You are only reducing the radius of your tire by .01 inches. You're speed may be a little off, but having the core weight more on the center of the tire would give you a better performance. The R16 tire is for the bling factor anyway.

- I think you are way over complicating things. If you are planning for a SHTF scenario, is color really that important? If I was choosing a bag and color was the motivating factor I would choose OD green, which I assume flat earth green is something like that. It would camouflage better in a wider variety of rural environments. However, if you are going to stay urban then black may be better. Green would look military and raise suspicion of passing refugees or government agents. Black may blend in better then because it is more common, it has a higher possibility of being overlooked. It depends on what you are planning for. EDIT: Jim makes a great point I hadn't thought about. What is your idea of SHTF? Is it necessarily roughing a week or two until help comes, or is it hiding from a corrupt government or invading country or something? If you are hoping for rescue than bright reflective materials would be better. However, I still say get a green or black bag. If you need to make it visible you can tie some reflective paracord or a mirror around it, but it's damn hard to camouflage a bright shiny bag.

- I agree with Kayak. The emergency space blanket is just that. For emergency only. It does capture your heat but it will cause you to get wet inside a sleeping bag. Have you ever considered just getting a better sleeping bag. If you have a very small budget you might try garage sales, thrift stores and flea markets. I have seen very expensive sleeping bags go for $20 or so. Kayak had some good ideas to add to your present sleeping bag. But trying to stitch a space blanket inside will not last very long as the plastic will tear easily. Of course if you are not hiking long distances and just camping at a camping area just bring extra blankets in the car and add them on top and bottom. Simple

- funny question. if you want to fight safely, you should wear gloves and protective gear. if you fight for real without any protective gear it is not going to be as safe obviously. the best thing is to put on some mma like gloves so you can grapple too and go for it. an mma style fight would be the closest thing to a real fight and safety obviously goes out the window as soon as it's a real fight with full power strikes.
