- It depends on how non-reflective the material is. If it's a material that simply absorbs all or most of the light incident on it, it will just become dark without reflecting anything. If the material transmits some light and absorbs some, then the mirror will still become darker, but it will still reflect some (as though it had been tinted).

- the reflective material on the PTs can wear off with mutliple washes, and its a reflective gray: its doesnt stand out like bright yellow does. also from the front and sides you're not all that reflective, its mainly the back with the giant A. aside from PT the only time ive ever worn a reflective belt was on a rucksack during ruckmarches. you'll never wear one in combat or outside the wire thankfully, army hasnt gotten that retarded yet

- It sounds good to me, but make sure you don't do it after you eat, because this only burns off the food you just ate, and makes you hungry all over again, and don't do too many of the same exercize at the same time, becuase doing to many doesn't help your body, it only wears you out, and usually you aren't doing the well, you're just rushing through. Hot water in your home may never reach 125 degrees. So-temperature won't rupture the hose. And the hose is attached with hose clamps on your cars engine, so why would the hose clamps leak on your water piping ? Just be ceratin the hose is slid up on the water pipe aboput 1 to 1 1/2 inches on each end and forget about it. And if you ever need expert advise on plumbing repairs be sure to shop the Home Depot.

- To add to Charcind's good answer You will not find any type of polymer nor any type of glass that withstands 2500F (almost 1400C). You will need a material like saphire (pure Al2O3). Although, depending on what you are trying to do any material at this temperature will be glowing bright red just due to the temperature so the transmission of some parts of the EM spectrum will be affected. Most ceramic floor tiles are NOT designed to function at 2500F and are not completely free of pores. Finding adhesives that will provide an airtight or pressure tight seal at 2500F is, as we say, non-trivial. Highly reflective mirrors Good mirrors are made using silver on glass. Silver is the most reflective surface we know of for the visual spectrum. If you are interested in a different or wider spectrum, you will need to do some research. It is obvious from your question that you are doing engineering design without any fundamental understanding of material science. Do not feel bad, this is a common situation (and is why material scientists generally have very good consistent employment opportunities). In fact, if you look at almost any technology we have today, the performance of that technolgoy is absolutely limited by the materials we have available.
