FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: How to remove the shoe oil into the tiles
You can wipe with orange peel or grapefruit skin Alkali washing: sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) with a temperature of 80 degrees or more hot water dubbed 5-10% solution, and then waste toothbrush solution scrub, you can remove. Pickling: directly with waste toothbrush stained with hydrochloric acid scrub, you can remove. With the caustic soda is the most common, warm water plus caustic soda, brush with a brush, but pay attention to do not touch the skin, will burn, difficult to remove the place, with a waste cloth wiping alkaline water cover for a while, do not hand or wear rubber gloves operating, You can sprinkle a little flour, let it absorb oil and then wipe. You can cover the toilet paper or paper towel on the tile, and then spray the detergent and then put a while, the detergent will not drop everywhere, and the grease will all float up. As long as the toilet paper tore, and then a clean cloth dipped in water, more than once or twice wipe it. Sprinkle the point of detergent, soaked in water for ten minutes, then wipe the ball ball that is good. Toothpaste has a strong cleaning effect, ready to use toothpaste every day, and then, to find a used toothbrush. Put the toothpaste on the toothbrush, and then brush a brush along the tiles, and then wipe a damp cloth on it.
Q: I am looking to tile my livingroom/kitchen area appx 500sf. I am going with porcelain due to the strength ( i was told its better). My question is for resal (4-5 years) what is a better tile to lay; polished tile or regular glaze. I like the shiny clear coat look the polished has but someone mentioned it picks up footprints and it is not good for resale. Also, I was thinking that If I went with a larger tile, 18X18 or larger that it would look much cleaner with less grout lines, but since its only an area of 500sf that it would make my place look smaller than it is?any suggestions are helpful. Thanks
Porcelain can absolutely be a polished surface. Mechanically polished porcelain does need a sealer applied before a contrasting color of grout is used. The surface is a polished unglazed and needs to be sealed. Shiny glazed tile, whether ceramic or porcelain is an enamel glaze in a shiny finish. Totally different than polished, through body porcelain. Don t believe everything you hear.
Q: I redid my floor in november using the sticky tiles I purchased from Family Dollar. I wanted to take the tiles off. Is there a easy way to do this without spending lots of money?
The previous owner of our house, unfortunately, tried to renovate and improve the recently refinished and refurbished original clear-vertical-grain fir floors by sticking self-adhesive vinyl tiles to them to create area rugs of faux parquet and faux marble. After scraping, heating, and using a variety of solvents, I hit upon this far easier and relatively non-toxic method: dry ice. Remove these adsRemove these ads by Signing Up
Q: I am planning on tiling the backsplash area of my kitchen. I am using 6x6 ceramic porecelin tile (roman stone). The dimensions of the area is 17x60. When i went to scrape the original paint off of the wall I will be tiling, the first thin layer of the drywall came off with the paint. This layer is paper thin. I went to Home Depot and they told me to use Zissner 123 sealer. I put on two coats and the wall seems sealed pretty good. I will be using Mastic as my adhesive. Do you think that I will be ok tiling three tiles high (first tile is laying on the granite countertop) without using a backerboard. Will the drywall be able to hold the mastic/tile even though I ripped off a thin layer of drywall but sealed it with 123 sealer?
Based on your description, maybe dark brown would be better as it will provide a better contrast with your current kitchen color scheme. You should also change your backsplash at the same time as the countertop. I would pick a third color that matches well with the beige and the dark brown. Good luck and have fun remodeling!
Q: I got these tiles at a yard sale. They appear to be very old, hand painted and likely of Mexican origin. The label is tattered and faded, but I would love to know more about them. Thanks for any info in advance.
They are generically called Calavera tiles and are made in Mexico by hundreds of different companies. In fact, just check Ebay for calavera tile and you will see a lot of them in similar designs. They install like any fired clay tile -- some people use them as accents with solid saltillo type tile. I have a bunch of them that I bought to use for a project that I changed my mind about. They are still so pretty that I use them for coasters and may eventually encorporate them into a design for my stone fireplace hearth. Yours look fairly vintage -- nice find!
Q: we are planning on replacing our livingroom carpet, !/2 of it withceramic tile. Is there any do‘s and don‘ts to consider. Thanks.
have a good surface underneath. I lay tile, and prefer cement board as an underlayment prior to laying tile on any surface. Plywood holds moisture and eventually rots. Do it right the first time and you won't be replacing it in 5 - 10 years.
Q: Anyone know who carries Emmevi ceramic tile?Looking for Emmevi ceramic Opale 12.5‘ * 12.5‘ tile. Willing to pay for info and tile. Need some tile ASAP
Finding okorder /... You have an odd size that is seldom made today.
Q: We are buying our first home and want to do some updating but are on a budget. We are not experienced in do-it-yourself home projects but would like to try.How simple or how difficult is installing carpet tiles? We know nothing about them really.
you can do it- just follow instructions. When I was a kid we garbage picked the carpet stores for left over remnants- any size. When we had enough we took them to the basement and randomly glued them to the floor for a patchwork design. If a kid can glue carpet down- so can you.
Q: Can a ceramic wall tile be applied directly to a greenboard surface with mortar or is a cement backer board required? Thanks for your help
Yes you can just be patient and remove the loose tiles which should not be hard to do. The reason that they have turned loose is because of moisture behind the tiles. Be sure you have a good stable surface for the tiles that you put back to adhere to. You may have to lay a film of masonry of something to give you a solid surface to hold the replaced tiles. As for as glue, I would use a adhesive that is called F26 and it is multipurpose to reattach the tile. I will guarantee that those tile will never come off again.
Q: Yesterday I bought tile from menards and they are sticky on the backs of them, my question is do I need to use other glue as well? If so what kind of glue?
These tiles are self sttick, so no other glue is needed. However, the surface of the floor must be clean, dry, and smooth for the tile job to last. Be sure to follow installation instructions carefully. Personally, anywhere water is involved, (bath, kitchen, laundry,) the less joints that water can penetrate, is the better solution. Self stick tiles will no hold up to an overflowing sink or toilet.
