1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q: What should you pay attention to when installing tiles?

- Without seeing the wall it's difficult to say. With an uneven surface like brick it would probably take too much thinset to be stable. To do properly, the bricks either need to be removed, or covered over. You could apply concrete to the wall, but that would be hard to finish smoothly if you're not a pro. You could erect a wall out of wood as a facing and tile over that. If you put up a wall it needs to be substantial to support the weight of the tile.
- Q: My husband and I just purchased our first house and we are pretty much tapped out for now. We dont have alot of money to remodel but enough to make some temporary improvements until next spring. All of our families are coming for the holidays and I want to spruce up our house. My biggest problem both of our bathrooms floors they are bad looking. I want to put peel and stick tile down but not sure how to measure for it. I want to do this today while my hubby is at work so I can surprise him. Im working on the master bath first its not that big, its only 5 feet by 5 inches long and 5 feet by 3 inches wide. How much peel and stick would I need? I have already cleaned the floors very well, what other tools do i need to get?

- Q: After completing a bathroom tile job, including a tile baseboard border about 6 up from the floor, we have dried thinset in on the actual wall - places we missed during cleanup. I‘ve tried using some scrapers (plastic and metal), and the dried thinset is like concrete (naturally) and is pulling layers of drywall off with it. Is there a solvent or better way to remove the dried thinset from both the wall and the exposed rim of the tiles? As a last resort I might be okay with slight damage to the walls as they need serious prep anyway before paint, but I do want to make sure i haven‘t missed some very obvious, easier, better solution first.
- Rip, dig or pull it off. It has to come off and there is no trick way to do it. You can mud the damage when you prep the rest of the wall for painting.
- Q: Tile setters? I paid someone to tile my bathroom floor using the 1 in hex tiles meshed together in 12 x 12 in pieces. Ive seen that type of tile done before and it each tile looks evenly spaced. The tiles he installed for me look like they were installed in 12 x 12 pieces as the perimeter of the meshed tiles has much wider grout lines than the interior. He says its normal and it happened because the floor is uneven but he installed the hardybacker himself so he should have leveled it.
- I can t believe these builders and tile setters didn t pick up on what you said..You said he installed the backer board and should ve leveled the floor. Un even grout will occur if the floor isn t flat so the installer is right about that. But he was wrong in doing a job that had a floor that wasn t flat. Part of his duty when bidding or time of installing is a floor inspection. And he should ve brought it to your attention and tell you that it ll be a bit extra to fix it or tell you that you have a dip or hump. It may have been a simple fix or something costing some money, I can t see it from here. Give him a chance to fix it. - Q: I just replaced the riser rail in our electric shower, but the fittings were slightly different, so now I have 2 bare holes in the tiles. Should I be concerned about moisture getting into the wall, and if so what‘s the best way to fill these holes? Would polyfilla be enough?
- Since this is now a hole you don t want to use any grout or thin set since these are cement based and will wick water through the hole. Tile caulk which you can get to compliment the tile or grout color is just ok to but I don t suggest these types of caulks. They are silicone and latex based and are water soluble. Best thing to use is a pure silicone caulk. Unless your tiles are white a clear caulk would look the best just to hide the holes . - Q: tiles to be applied in tub surround and ceiling
- Glass manufactres in all cases recomend using a white thinset mortar with additive for proper bond strench. Some suggestions include Custom Building Products megaflex Ultimate Thinset Mortar and Versabond Latex Modified Thinset.

- I'm not certain what the dimensions of a 'standard terracotta' tile that you mention are but... we have a Spanish style roof, utilizing what is called Spanish Mission Tile, in which the tiles are semicircular in cross section and about 6 inches wide, by about 20 inches long. It is the type of tile that requires one column of tile INVERTED with the concave face upward, and the next column [on both sides] with the concave side down covering the edges of the adjacent up-curved tiles. The Mission tiles are NOT the kind in which one tile provides both the under' and over'' portion in a single tile. Our Mission tiles weigh 5 pounds each and we have 3,500 on our roof which totals out to roughly 17,500 pounds on a house of about 2,000 sqft. We [My father, Mother, myself (12 yoa), and my brother (8 yoa)] installed this roof ourselves back in 1954 and although it wasn't complicated, it was a whole lot of hard work. It took us almost an entire summer to do it. You may be able to get more info from the manufacturer from who we buy replacement tiles. It is the D'hannis [Sp?] tile company located at Hondo, Texas, which is west of San Antonio.
