FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: I heard that ceramic tiles absorb water and we have ceramic tile in the downstairs bedroom. After I wash the tile floor how long do I wait until I can move our dressers and furniture back on the tile? Because once I bring in the dressers I don‘t think the tiles will have a chance to dry because it is fully covered by the dressers, right?
it depends on the ventilation in the room tiles will dry quickly because they do NOT absorb water
Q: I want to replace the existing ugly linoleum/vinyl floor in my bathroom with tile. With the right information and tools, I don‘t see why I can‘t do it myself. Any ideas on the pros and cons of different types of tile? What‘s least likely to get scratched, and what is least likely crack and need to be replaced? Which is easiest to clean, etc.? I‘m not crazy about a rough feel or look to the tile. So, I‘m thinking of glazed ceramic or polished stone. Also, my bathroom is very small. I wouldn‘t need to use more than 35-40 square feet of tile. Do you think 12x12 size tiles would look too big? Any tips or suggestions will be appreciated!
Ceramic tiles that have a somewhat porous texture and somewhat marbled appearance. Porcelain and marble, as well a smooth-glazed ceramic, is too slippery. Stone is too porous and subject to trapping dirt (plus I once had a slate bathroom floor that constantly smelled like wet rocks when it got wet or damp). You can also get ceramic tile that looks like stone for less money. Solid colors - particularly white - are a major faux pas with a tile floor. Every piece of dirt, debris, hair, etc., is highly visible. Some kind of slight marbling or travertine looking pattern hides these well. 12 x 12 is an excellent size for a bathroom floor tile. If you have a wood subfloor, make sure you install a layer of 1/2-inch wonderboard and a leveling compound (plasticized cement slurry), plus a slipsheet (plasticized paper layer) before putting down the thinset and tiles. This will ensure that the floor is extremely solid, and that the difference in thermal expansion between the underlayment and the tiles won't result in tile or grout cracking.
Q: What is the standard water absorption of tiles?
National standard: porcelain brick water absorption E ≤ 0.5%, ceramic brick water absorption E> 10% The water absorption of the tiles refers to the percentage of the weight of the inhaled water after the mouth of the product is filled with water. It can directly describe the density of the product and affect the moisture resistance of the product. So you may wish to live on the spot when the test tile water absorption, can be a cup of 150 ml of water poured on the back of the tile, after 3 seconds, if the water will all penetrate the brick, then the tiles of water absorption faster Rate E> 10%, then it also shows the quality of the tile is poor. Therefore, the home improvement to choose the water absorption of the tiles, because the lower the water absorption of tiles, tile on behalf of the inherent stability of the higher.
Q: Please help! and give as much information you can about the invention of tiles!
Every time I submit a question, even if it is the easiest one, they cannot give me a good informed answer on this site. what happened to people who actually make the effort to write an answer?
Q: Our kitchen isn‘t that big and I hate the tile. My fiance says it‘s a huge big deal to remove the tile but not so hard to put new tile in.About how much does it run to remove tile, say from the average size kitchen.... it‘s about 7 foot by 18 feet.
it is not the tile removing that would cost the money,it is the making good afterwards as you need a straight flat wall/floor to be able to retile it.If your tiles are sound, well stuck and not falling apart/moving then tiling on top is an option.that creates it's own problems tho,in the end edge,on a wall where the tiles just stop, you will see 2 tiles thickness as opposed to one only.If it is floor tiling you talking about then you will have a small problem by the doors, where the new tiling will be a bit higher than whatever is on the other side of the door.If the tiles are stuck on marine ply, make sure you use flexible adhesive and grout for the new tiling.
Q: How hard is this? Is this someone with 0 experience do? I wanna remove my girlfriends jacked up rug and install tile since she has two puppies. What do you guys recommend?
It depend on how big the job is. You need to tear out the carpet and the padding, the tack strip around the floor need to come up too. Then you got to clean the floor good. If the floor is concrete it should easily clean, if it wood it might take longer. Now it depend on the tile or ?, I would recommend something that would be easy and the best bet would be vinyl tile or 12ft sheet goods, it depend on the layout of the house or ?....So So I would get expert advice from a flooring store, avoid Home depot or Lowes. Good Luck.
Q: We had a piping problem in out house and we need to find self stick tiles. We honestly cant find any good places to find these tiles. If anyone can give good suggestions on where to find some self stick tiles? I live in dearborn Michagan.
The tiles you seek can be found at any home improvement and carpeting store. Self-stick tiles are nice but they require perfect preparation before you attempt to lay them. Anything less than that will disappoint you when the tiles start lifting or they develop ugly peaks and valleys from the foot traffic. Good luck with your project.
Q: 80 cm x 80 cm tiles a piece of weight is probably how many kilograms?
Ordinary soil polishing plant is relatively thin, a box is about 90 ... 95 pounds, is more than 30 pounds each piece.
Q: My mothers house has 9 tiles on her bathroom floor and I understand they are made with asbestos. Some of the tiles are starting to lift and I am concerned about how to remove and dispose of them, any suggestions?
Professionals seal off the room with heavy plastic and even have a separate chamber to change into white suits and respirator and then they shower afterwards . You shouldn't be messing with it!
Q: What is the probability that the two faulty tiles share an edge?
Break down the titles into 3 categories: - Corner tiles (there are 4) - Outer tiles that aren't corner tiles (there are 6*4=24) - The rest, on the inside (there are 6*6 = 36) If a tile is on a corner, there are only 2 possible other squares in the grid that it can share an edge with. If the tile is in the second category, there are 3. And if the tile is somewhere in the middle, there are 4 neighboring tiles it could share an edge with. The total probability that two random tiles share an edge is: ( P(tile is a corner tile)*(2/63) + P(tile is on end)*(3/63) + P(tile is in middle)*(4/63) ) / 2. We have to divide by 2 because we're counting each pair twice. So this is: ((4/64)(2/63) + (24/64)(3/63) + (36/64)(4/63)) / 2 = (8 + 72 + 144) / 2(64*63) = 112/4032 = 0.027777... EDIT: Right after I first posted this I noticed that the user above me got the same answer unsing a different method. I like his method better, but it would seem to be that the total number of unique pairs on the grid is not 64*63, but 64*63/2 because there are two different ways you can pick tiles to make the same pair (depends on which order you pick them in). So maybe the answer is 112 / 2016 and I missed something in my reasoning!
