- Q: I have unfinished basement with insulation hanging from top. I am thinking about covering it with something to make a ceiling for the basement. I would also look into glass tabletop covers as they will be less likely to scratch over the long term and can be purchased at andy glass specialty shop and hobby lobby even carries an assortment of glass table tops.....the backside of the glass can be painted to any hue you want using glass paints from a craft store! Just be sure to put a clear finish on to protect it if you do!

- Dichloromethane will dissolve most plastics except for PTFE, PFA, or FEP. if you could find a transparent plastic coated with any of these, it might work.
