Q: Alcatel OT-800 mobile phone - good phone? any disadvantages??thanks x
thanks
Q: I had shortlisted the Sony Ericsson T700 and G502 as the choices for my first mobile phone. I am pretty convenient at using mobile phones (as all my relatives have one) so using them is not a problem. My first pref is the T700 but as it is costlier and mostly has the same features as the cheaper G502 (except camera mp, menu layout and more RSS functions), I am thinking of going for the G502. However, I have read that the G502's build quality is poor and it hangs and restarts and similar sort of things. Also some people say that the colour starts coming off after a few months. Is that a cause for worry?I know that firmware needs to be updated regularly so, if I maintain it well, are there chances of problems creeping up? I would also like to know from G502 users if they liked it or if they had some specific problems with it? In the end, should I wait for the T700's price to drop or should I go for the G502?Thanx for reading.
I've had one for about a couple of months now and had no problems with it. I was just after a low cost phone that would allow me to check emails, get weather reports, connect to messenger, etc. The screen is a little small but I can read my mail using Google's excellent mobile mail app. I haven't tried to write an email with it yet. Build quality is good and I haven't had any problems with it hanging, although a couple of websites that I was viewing with the built in browser have caused it to restart. Can't comment on the paint coming off yet. I think the screen would be easily scratched so I try to avoid putting it in the same pocket as keys, coins, etc. and I'm looking for some sort of cover to protect it. Overall, it does the job for me and I've been pleased with it in the first couple of months I've had it. Best regards,
Q: Are unlocked mobile phones (of the same model) more expensive than mobile phones that are not unlocked?
yes, typically. unlocked phones can be used with pretty much any sim card as long as it works with the GSM. locked phones only work for one carrier. i.e verizon, sprint, etc. example, a sidekick might cost $50 with a 2 year plan yet it would cost probably around $150-200 to buy it unlocked.

Q: can a military officer use mobile phone during duty.or while in office??
easily no longer. If this rip-off would not have happened which ability, licenses would not have been given on first come first serve foundation yet by way of bidding technique, who's primary with what became into the cost of 2G spectrum? The quoted value of rip-off are purely speculations. Who is primary with what could have been the minimum bid for that bidding technique may well be below what those businesses paid suitable now, and who's primary with the somewhat bought value could have been lots below at present. the main obligatory ingredient is, the technique ought to have been loose and trustworthy, and it became into no longer. If Mr. A. Raja observed the corrupt practices of late Pramod Mahajan and Mr. Arun Shourie, then he's incompetent, and if no longer then he's corrupt. the two techniques he's incorrect and he controlled to wreck the rustic and taxpayer's funds.

Q: I have a virgin mobile phone I purchased about three years ago. Do they allow free upgrades or discounts on newer models? Anyone had any experiance with them?
Lg Rumor Touch , Blackberry Curve 8530 , Or The Samsung Intercept .
Q: I have a T-Mobile Shadow. It's old and beat up and I got it in about 2008. I think Its due for an upgrade but I don't know which phones I can get for it. I really want the HTC HD2. I was wondering if I could upgrade to that phone for free or if it would cost anything. Or any other phone for that matter. Preferably a touch screen phone, its just easier.
You need to go to the T-Mobile website and sign into your account or if you haven't set up an online account, do so. All cell phone carriers have their sites set up that will show you 1. If you qualify for an upgrade. 2. How much this upgrade will cost. For instance: Sprint lets me get an upgrade every year. Some phones are absolutely free and some I would have to pay a small fee ( such as a 300. phone I might only pay $50). Also, Sprint will let me upgrade after 6 months however, the credit I get is less. At 6 months, I get $50 and then at 8 months $75 and so on.) If you are not computer savvy and cannot find how to do this on your own, call T-Mobile. They will gladly and willingly direct you to their sales department and tell you what you qualify for. Hope I helped you! :) Edit: Don't forget to come back and vote! And if I helped, let me know!
