- a green screen works good for motion picture and television because the action and motion blur makes the artifacts less noticable. however for a still portrait you will get less than desirable results. the subject will often be green around the gills. This is because, 1 they are too close to the green screen and green light reflections spill on the sides of the subject or 2 they are too far from the green screen which is no longer in sharp focus and a fringes bleed over on the subject's image. - Try lubrication the entire mechanism. My first choice would be Super Slick Stuff and perhaps WD40 as a second choice. Those lubricants will clean, penetrate and lubricate. If they get things moving, I would use a dry Teflon lubricant or white lithium grease next time you lubricate it. I would also put newspapers or kraft paper or something under the chair for the first few days in case some lubricant drips off. I would say a LazyBoy chair needs to be oiled every couple years, maybe more in a really humid house.
