- My city not a problem. For police just ask to see the desk sergeant who will ask officers if it is OK with them. Same with FD, just go into a station, ask to see the lieutenant or captain and it is never a problem. Most cites it is little trouble for FD. Some cities block people from actually talking to anyone except behind bullet proof glass, at a police station. My cities 23 stations purposely have an open plan. All you can do is ask. No one is going to shoot you or turn a fire hose on you for asking.
- Q: My computer was stuck in reboot everytime I turned it on so I installed xp again. When I ran the install I didn't delete the other install that was stuck in reboot. - all my gear i've gotten from my local cycle gear gloves (mesh for summer, waterproof for winter), pants (w removable air panels), mesh jacket, vented boots (with waterproof covers), thermal base layer, helmet (modular w internal visor), and a cooling base layer for extra hot days- all black synthetics with CE rated padding (which you WANT!!) for under $600. one complete layer alone was less than $500- helmet (100), jacket (80), pants (100), gloves (40), and boots (120) all my gear (except thor boots) is of cycle gear's in house brands- bilt (5 yr NQA warranty) or sedici (lifetime NQA warranty) i've been very pleased so far with the design and quality of cycle gear's protective apparel- i've only replaced the waterproof gloves after a few years because they were leaking. they grabbed a new pair off the shelf and i was on my way with no hassle they also have leather gear and full suits, i just wasn't interested in the extra expense/ lack of flexibility if this is more than you're looking to spend, check craigslist out- just don't buy gear that has been crashed and NEVER BUY A USED HELMET!! ATGATT (all the gear all the time) i'm glad to see you value your skin!
