- In order to use conditional formatting I think you're going to need a couple more columns for additional information. Once you have them set up, you can hide the columns. I made a sample spreadsheet to do this. Here's what I did: cell 1 for each column is reserved for titles (Hull name, Hose number, hose name, etc).
