- Yes Target does sell T-Mobile service with contracts and without contract (Prepaid). However they don't have a lot of phone selection. Your best bet would be at a T-Mobile store. If you want to activate your own line with a contract at Target then you would have to show them a driver license. They will do a credit check before activation. If you mother is the primary person and holder on the T-Mobile account then it is unlikely Target will sell you the phone and have it activated. The primary person needs to be present when they activate the 2nd line to the account. On prepaid phones with T-Mobile at Target you don't need to show any identification and you can purchase the prepaid phones there as well.

- sony ericsson vivaz pro its a cool phone. It runs Symbian. It has a resistive touchscreen ( like windows mobile 6.5) Blackberry stocks are going down. iPhone sucks because you cant tether, no flash, no moving wallpapers, no dual core processors (its only a 1ghz A4 processor) its only got 512MB RAM, not even 1 GB. your best bet it Sony ericsson xperia x10 (cheap, candy bar style touchscreen, running android 2.1 if you want something smaller get the x10, or x8 (xperia) If you are on A GSM network, get the Motorola atrix. (it turns into a laptop with the laptop dock) its running android 2.2. you can make this phone a mobile hotspot (iPhone 4 cant do that) Get an Android phone even better, if you root it (look up superoneclick) you can get free apps that usually cost money on android market., you can also use tethering, and completely change the font of your phone. I rooted my xperia x10 and upgraded to gingerbread (android 2.3) added multitasking, and downloaded some really cool fonts. Also apple stocks have gone down, because android is an open source, and apple is not. No wonder they are losing money.

- all you do is scan for networks and if it shows you a house next to it then it means you can use it and if you use vodafone make sure you ask for passport as it's free and you can use your phone anywhere for the same network rate :)x

- While viruses for mobile phones do exist, they exist only for some mobile phone models - and yours is not one of them. You won't find any anti-virus programs (or even file managers) for your phone, either. If your phone looks like an USB drive when connected to your PC and if your PC is infected with some kinds of viruses, the virus can copy itself to your phone. However, it will be inert there - it won't be able to run on the phone and won't even be able to infect another PC (since autoplay doesn't work for USB drives).

- I don't think it can be done. And if it can be, not very easily. Here's why. Virgin Mobile makes great cheap phones. But they come at a different price. They intentionally limit (nice way of saying cripple) the phone in certain ways to prevent phone unlockers from taking these cheap phones and putting them on other phone networks like Metro PCS or Cricket. Virgin Mobile along with Tracfone both sell cheap phones and are famous for suing big time phone unlockers. And often winning the lawsuits too. To prevent unlockers from hacking their phones , one of the most common things they do is limit user access to the phone by limiting usb cable connections, bluetooth and other data port connections between the phones and pcs ( usb cable connections is one of the most common ways to flash/unlock a phone). The Aloha might be an exception but I don't think so because it is a cheaper model. (Virgin doesn't want some company buying up hundreds of Alohas at Best Buy or whatever and reflashing them and reselling them for a big profit at Virgin Mobile's expense.) They spend a lot protecting their lower end stuff. Kind of ironic really .
