Q:I saw some nice boost mobile walkie talkie phones, and i want one.: You can put a Boost Mobile Sim in most year 2002 and newer phones even most blackberries but on regular handsets download options will not work with blackberries you cannot use mobile web . If you can find someone who is familiar with iDEN mobile technology you can ask if they will unlock your Boost Mobile phone after that is done you can use a nextel 64K sim in any Java Boost handset but it must be UNLOCKED and you will NOT be allowed to download ringtones wallpapers etc

It's terrible for text and has a short battery charge. The small display on my phone is very scratched already with just normal use. I tried to return the phone in the first week after I purchased it with no luck. I have the 50. Unlimited plan and added 10. for unlimited international text. No one else I've found offers unlimited international text. Boost has the best plan I've found but poor service quality and the Motorola i335 is not a good phone. Q:I want to get a new mobile - can i get them without a Sim card and have my one in my current phone put in it so i have the same phone number and the same cash on my pay as you go: You can, or you can get one with a SIM already installed and get the mobile phone provider to transfer your old number to the new SIM. This process takes a few days. The main difference is that using your old SIM will mean that you are still using the same network. If a different network is offering the phone and/or calls etc more cheaply, take the second option with a new SIM on the new network, and your old number transfers to the new network.

This would load all the necessary settings onto the phone's flash memory to make work. The newer Boost Mobile phones actually use SIM cards, making the activation process easier. All the setting are stored on the chip of the SIM rather than the phone's hardware, similar to GSM phones.

Q:I was planning on buying a cell phone from t-mobile, the motorola cliq xt. i was gonna buy the phone with a 2 year contract since it's cheaper, but i noticed the cheapest plan is $39.99. I also noticed that once i click the plan, it brings me to a services page where it says required services are android and T-Mobile Android Unlimited Web. do i REALLY need the unlimited web plan or can i just buy the phone/39.99 plan? the unlimited web plan is $30 alone so it would cost 69.99/month. this is my first phone with an actual plan(currently mine is pre-paid), so i don't know much about them. thanks for any input!: i recommend staying with prepaid. with that said, yes, most of there phones require an unlimited data plan for 30 dollars. and it's not just t-mobile that requires it, verizon is the same way. i say it's just another way for phone companies to get more money. i have straight talk and i love it. it's prepaid and it runs on the verizon network so it has great service. for 30 dollars a month you get 1,000 minutes, 1,000 text/picture messages and 30 MB of data or for 45 dollars a month you get unlimited everything. there's no roaming fees. unlimited calls to 411 at no extra charge, where on other providers it could cost any where from 1.29 to 1.99 for a 411 call. but that's up to you. i have had service with verizon postpaid, t-mobile, tracfone, net10, straight talk, verizon prepaid, t-mobile prepaid, u.s. cellular postpaid and i have to say prepaid wins. contracts really suck. yes the phones are nicer, but unless you pay full retail for the phone and not sign a contract, i don't recommend going with a postpaid account. good luck deciding.
