Q: what are three examples of a specific property that metals have which solve a problem or meet a need: Don't try too hard to impress anybody, just be yourself. Avoid the ones that say a certain style isn't metal just because they don't like it, look for the open-minded metalheads to be friends with. Try listening to a wide variety of metal genre's. And if you're wearing a band shirt, atleast know something about the band lol :)

Which is the unknown metal? why?: I'm a big fan of Kamelot and I think they are more power than progressive. They are still awesome though. Progressive metal is a sub genre of music that combines the almost jazz-like progression of progressive rock and the agression, volume, speed, and heaviness of metal. Usually features band members who are incredibly skilled at their instruments. Features rapid key changes, odd time signatures, and bombastic instrumental sections. It could be defined as intelligent metal.

Q: what one emo or metal?: Well, I tend to be a more of a fan of new metal.....BUT, there is no way I'd side with your friend if he is naming Korn and Slipknot as examples....I'll give you some better examples.... Pantera (well they aren't 'new') Soilwork Scar Symmetry Threat Signal Nightrage Hatebreed Lamb of God Throwdown Godsmack The Haunted Machinemade God Bloodsimple Disarmonia Mundi Miseration I totally understand why you would say old metal, also...but I tend to only listen to newer stuff from 90's on.....its just my taste, though I appreciate many of the older metal bands....I enjoy newer bands..... But, there are many crappy new metal bands around so I am not saying new metal as a whole is better....I am saying I enjoy the bands I listen to...most of which aren't wicked well-known or mainstream and that are very talented and actually produce great metal music unlike what some ppl call newer metal (such as Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Slipknot, etc...which is crap compared to the bands I listen to) I hope you see where I am coming from.....I just prefer metal bands from the 90's on..... :)

Q: as metal music: heavy metal, death metal, thrash metal, progressive metal, and so on.: There is no such rule. The most valuable metals - silver, gold and the white metals - are also the least reactive. More reactive metals do have a floor on their price though becasue the most reactive metals need more advanced techniques to extract them. For example, iron is relatively unreactive so can be extracted fairly cheaply in a blast furnace. Aluminium is more reactive, and needs to be extracted via electrolysis, which is a much more energy and cost intensive process. As a result aluminium costs far more than iron (or steel) even though it is a much more abundant element in the Earth's crust.

Q: I enjoy power metal and their artists. Artists like: Blind Guardian, NightWish, Iced Earth, HammerFall, and many more. So, anyone a power metal fan out there as much as i do.: A band out of Galveston TeXas referred to as LecH is swamp funeral doom, and powerful, yet not for each individual. They actually began there very own form. observed them stay, and could not pay attention for some day. yet another is Nortt.

Q: It sounds rather metal to me, but I'm not a musician or even a huge music lover. I am merely a casual listener. Why is nu-metal not considered metal?: True metal... Well there are different types. There's doom/stoner metal like Sabbath, and then there's stuff like speed metal such as early Metalleca and Pantera. Also I'd consider bands like Judas Preist to be metal... Then there's stuff that could be considered 'nu-metal' like Slipknot, Korn, and Deftones. ALSO you got all other types of metal inbetween like death metal, which I don't really listen to much... And Industrial metal. Idk. I like types like Sabbath, Pantera, Korn Deftones and Slipknot though. What about you?

Q: urgently need a list of strongest to weakest metals: Full metal gearbox does NOT mean the gun is full metal. With gearboxes it is important to have a metal one unless you are buying a gun you are going to fling around.

Q: Rock on and Gloria al Metal: Metal isn't really disrespected, metal fans just have a persecution complex.

Q: Whats the difference between Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Deathcore, Doom Metal and Black Metal?: Look some of these other answers are good, but metal has different classes of bands, so you have to realize that metal is just a state of mind.
