Q:Is the pressure test of the centerline butterfly valve checked or checked?
Every factory factory must require pressure tests.
Q:I need a valve cover gasket replacement because mine is leaking a tremendous amount of oil. The mechanic says it will cost about $269.00 plus tax. I wanted to make sure this figure was the average since I do not know a lot about cars. My car is a Mitsubishi Diamante 2001.
The gasket set is probably $ 20, so double that to $ 40..... 270 - 40 is 230, divided by 2 man-hours, which is the usually dealership minimum, gives $ 115 an hour. I DON'T THINK SO !!!! Unless you live in Hawaii where everything is expensive, that sounds steep.... real steep. Dealers around here get like $ 85 an hour, so two hours is 170, plus 40 is 210 bucks; Still killer money for the dealer..... I'd question that estimate ask if there is some extraordinary challenge to working on your car. It is possible there are accessories mounted over the valve cover that will have to be moved, or that's it's a canted V-6 with one valve cover tucked up against the fire wall. Be nice, smile, ask questions.... Maybe even have someone show you what has to be moved on your engine to get at the valve cover(s). If you're going to pay that much $$$, you should learn something, also.
Q:How can one - way sealed butterfly valves and two-way sealed butterfly valves be distinguished?
One way sealing butterfly valve is the front of the butterfly valve. When it closes, it must face the direction of the medium. The medium flows only in one direction, and the arrow on the valve body indicates the direction of the flow direction of the medium. Attention should be paid to the flow direction of the medium during installation. The two-way sealing butterfly valve is that the butterfly plate can face or back the direction of the medium, and the installation needs no attention to the direction of the flow of the medium, and the valve body also has no indication of the direction of the flow direction of the medium. Two way sealing butterfly valve stem force is greater than one-way butterfly valve stem. Design, the same diameter, pressure butterfly valve, two-way sealing butterfly valve stem diameter than one-way sealing butterfly valve stem diameter.
Q:What is the effect of nylon coating on butterfly valve plate? Thank you
Mainly media will not be contaminated by rust on the body, you should say that the central soft sealing butterfly valve, the central valve is generally cast steel or cast iron material, so useNylon coatingLining up. There are soft seals, sealing performance is relatively high
Q:valve adjustment 2001 chev prism 1.8L
valve adjustment . you need to know the fire order. the gage between the stem. rotators the cranshaft. it could be cold start. cylinder need to be bottomed center.
Q:i have a slightly small mitral valve leak in my heart. my cardiologist say nothing to worry about, but i am not sure. can some one explain if it would eventually lead to some complications?
I have Mitral Valve Prolapse, and slight regurgitation. If your cardiologist says not to worry, I wouldn't worry. Mitral Valve prolapse just means you have a slight deformity of the bicuspid valve. It doesn't close correctly. It's not a disease, or anything like that, just a slight deformity. The symptoms are annoying. You may or may not have palpitations, slight sharp chest pain sometimes, dizziness, fatigue, and anxiety from it. You must have it checked yearly to make sure it's not progressing. I have had it since I was born, and now I am 28, and it has not progressed at all. MILLIONS of people are walking around with it, and don't even know it. It's not really a big deal. However, it does have the potential to worsen and you may or may not need a new valve. But that normally happens when you're older, in your 50's or up. Don't worry about it.
Q:Transformer butterfly valve and pressure relief valve difference
The butterfly valve is usually fitted with an oil immersed transformer between the tank and the radiator to control the flow of oil between the transformer tank and the heat sink. When large power transformers are delivered, the radiators are usually individually packed to reduce transport sizes. The butterfly valve is closed to prevent the outside air or water from entering the transformer tank. When the transformer is transported to the installation site, the radiator is installed on the butterfly valve one by one. When the radiator is installed, the butterfly valve can be opened so that the oil flow between the transformer, the oil tank and the radiator can be circulated, so as to play the role of heat dissipation. When the transformer is running, it is found that when the radiator has seepage, the butterfly valve can be closed to avoid further leakage of transformer oil, and a new radiator can be replaced.
Q:The difference between vertical and horizontal butterfly valves in municipal water supply
Vertical and horizontal only installation directions and installation methods are different. Functionally, there is no difference. The main difference between the two methods of installation is that:1. horizontal can effectively avoid the high temperature radiation above the pipe. The disadvantage is that it takes up a lot of space. The advantage of the 2. vertical is that the occupation space is smaller, and it is easy to install. If the pipeline is higher, it is not convenient for maintenance.
Q:Should I connect the butterfly valve before and after the pump? Or gate valve?
1, valve, the fluid resistance is small, the sealing surface by the erosion of small and medium Chong brush. 2, opening and closing more effort. 3, medium flow unrestricted, no disturb, do not reduce pressure. 4. The shape is simple, the structure length is short, the manufacturing technology is good, and the scope of application is wide. Butterfly valve main deficiency is that it uses the pressure and temperature range is small. And poor sealing. Therefore, the gate valve should be preferred.Gate valve (gatevalve) is a gate valve used to open and close parts, and along the vertical axis of the valve seat movement, in order to achieve the opening and closing action of the valve. The valve can only be fully open and fully closed, opening and closing parts is the gate, the direction of motion perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, valve two square I-shaped sealing surface forming the wedge, the wedge angle varies with the valve parameters, usually 5 degrees is not high, medium temperature is 2 degrees 52'. Improve the process of valve, make up the sealing surface angle in the process of production deviation, this kind of gate is called flexible gate.
