Q: My horse isn't actually broke yet, but I will need an arena once he is.My barn owner has already said that she wants to build one 'soon.' I know that she has the money, the land, and the time. It's just going to be a basic outdoor, all we really need is drainage and footing since the fencing's already there. On the other hand, she's a pretty lazy person. She's really nice, but since I'm the only one on the property who really is pushing for an arena, she's taking her time getting started.Does anyone have any ideas for motivating her, without making her mad? I'd be willing to help build it if I have to, but I'm not sure how to bring it up.Ideas would be great :)
Gallop has written exactly what I was going say!
Q: We want to level the yard but need some pointers. Our yard has VERY noticable dips, one of which we used as a hill for sleding in the winter! So we want to rent a tractor or something to help dig and mover dirt, rocks, etc. and then make it level without making it suseptible to poor water drainage like creating areas for water to stand. Any tips or things to let us know that we would need? Like what is the best type of tractor to rent a excavator or bobcat??
The Bobcat is a versatile tool, but not great for digging dirt and rocks out out. Great for moving rocks and dirt once it is loose, but tends to grind a lot of ruts if you aren't used to running one. Depending on how much you need to move, a backhoe might be a better machine to use because it can dig up, transport, and grade easier than a Bobcat.
Q: I am biulding a small wooden machine prettty much like an excavator for my science project. It works on the principle of hydraulics and uses pistons (with coloured water). Now I want to make it more cool by either usind electricity or some mechanical way. So, if you cant tell me how a hydraulic piston of an excavator controlled, please tell me to how to power a piston using electricity.
The pumps are not controlled they are either on or off. they just pressurize the accumulator and fluid is steered with valves to the rams.
Q: How do they ventilate subway tunnels when they are building them? Obviously they cant use just electric vehicles to create stations and tunnels. TBMs are electric but they must use excavators, loaders, etc when building stations beneath the surface. How do they ventilate these tunnels?
There is a fan plant built next to an access shaft. The fans blow fresh air through the duct that runs down the shaft and into the tunnel, suspended from the tunnel's arch, all the way to the TBM. As the TBM advances, workers add new sections of the duct. The air then flows through the tunnel back to the access shaft. The section of the NYC's Third Water Tunnel I've been to, used very little engine powered heavy equipment. The train that brought workers and supplies to and from the TBM run on the CNG. Everything else run on electricity.
Q: Does anyone know how to turn the gravity off in the bio dome after you turn the power on? There's no answer for this anywhere else thankssss
Gravity and Air will return to the Bio Dome once power is on. The only way to get rid of gravity is to allow the excavator to breach the Bio Dome. Once this happens, a PES will be required from then on out in the Bio Dome. Same if the excavator breaches tunnel 6 and 11. Once an excavator has breached any of these three areas. The only way to raise that excavator is to hack its terminal in the Receiving Area.
Q: What does it mean to walk an excavator and how do u do it?
re-ask the question and put it into some context. I'm a builder and I have no idea what you're talking about.
Q: I'm looking for a bucket attachment for a caterpillar excavator....its some sort of backside attachment thats 6-8inches and is capable of cutting metal....does anyone know the name of a certain attachment or any links?? i wasnt having any luck on the cat website it was all buckets. thanks!

Q: Is/are there specific formula/s?
Excavator Bucket Volume
Q: Which or the two archeologists was the better excavator for the Aegean civilization- Evans or Schliemann? Please discuss their methods of excavating and the truth in their quot;finds.quot;Side note: This is a question on my study guide and I deff need the help! Please!
Evans is better.
Q: EXCAVATOR CLAY BUROWING SUBSTRATE, or VITA-SAND
I would get either Vita-Sand or Calci-Sand because even if they are accidentally swallowed, they provide either vitamins or calcium!
