- Q:the question is' the city of rubber ville plans to dig a rectanguler landfil. the landfil will have a base with demensions 700 ft by 200 ft and a depth of 85 ft.'1- how many cubi feet of garbage will the landfill hold?2- what information would you need to determine how long the landfil can be used until its full?3- an excavator was hired to dig the hole for the landfill. how many cubic yards of dirft will he have to haul away?i reaally dont get this!can you please explain 1, 2, and 3 to me??
- Well for number 1, simply find the volume by multiplying the given dimensions For number 2, you would need to know approxamitely the volume of trash going in daily, or something along those lines For the third, convert dimensions to yards, then multiply them? That's how I would do it, unless I misread the question
- Q:More detail: My husband also told me last October that he is tired of his job of 25 years. He works for his parents and they would be devistated if he left so he stays. He makes a good salary, benefits and has it good. He turned 40 in July 2007. He bought a motorcycle after he had told me about his confusion toward his job, his life and me. 3 weeks ago he told me he has been falling out of love with me for about 3 years which again was a total shock! He was intimate to me up until this point. I would have never guessed. We were always so passsionate when we made love he just couldn't have been faking it!!! He works 5 1/2 days weekly as an excavator, he's been in the fire company for 25 years, he is a Boy Scout leader. My son is in Scouts. I know he is very busy and I never nag him or get mad at him for not being around much. I was content as long as he was intimate with me but now I feel like I'm just here for the chores etc. I love him with all my heart. Help?
- See my first answer; look, he is being honest with you. It sounds like he is assessing his life and feeling that he has missed out on something. It happens. 40 is still very young, he has another 25 years of working life...It also sounds like your intimacy was just physical....like a habit. I know you think you are a good wife, and I'm sure you are.....but he has changed and moved on without you. I'm really sorry, but it does not sound good.
- Q:them outside right now at my father-in-law's. I'm pretty sure the perc rate will be between 1-5 minutes for 1 inch of water, but we're going to do the official test in a little bit to check. The soil here is sandy and it's a three bedroom house with 3 people living in it and 4 people who visit almost every weekend.
- 8 to 10ft is deep enough, Be sure to embed your Leach Lines in about 6 to 8 ft of Pea Gravel filling out the Bottom to Leach lines. You should Start from your Liquids Tank and Start your down flow about a 1/4 Bubble on a 2 to 4ft Level until you get to the End. Also you can reduce your PVC PIPE FROM 4 TO 2 PVC. At the opening of your hole T- off run 5 to 10 Leach Lines space them 2 to 3 apart fill top of lines With Pea Gravel Top Soil and Pack well. One noteable; You might want to Line the bottom of your leach Hole Polyurathane, Oil or Sulpher and Lime to prevent mold Mildew. Hope I Helped you as simple as Possible.
- Q:today, a guy left his backhoe running for 5 straight hours without even useing it............
- ribuckeye is correct. A diesel engine operates off of the principal of heat. They do not run well, or operate efficiently until they are warmed up. If you were ever to go to a railroad yard, you would find that the locomotive's diesel engine is rarely ever shut off. However with the high cost of diesel fuel, many trucking companies now require their drivers to shut off the engine when it is not in use, as a cost savings measure.
- Q:hi,i would like to know if my 2 children and my wife would have a better life in france than the uk?i am a hgv driver/excavator operator and i am looking to life and work near to brittany??thanks
- Unless you live in a war zone or some thing then life is how you make it.
- Q:My kids broke the key on my Cat 380c excavator, but since it is a gray market machine im not sure if its fixable. Is the starting cylinder interchangeable? will the key be the same type? and my last question is since it was imported from Japan it doesn't have a us title so i dont have any proof of ownership so will the dealership still try to get the proper key or will think think its stolen?
- my experience with cat tractors is the they all use the same key. i was fleet mechanic at a place with a variety of cat tractors, even had cat padlocks. same key worked on everything. i ordered spare keys once, didnt need to prove any ownership, but it was a company account it got billed to from the dealership we bought the tractors from.
- Q:So I got a new job and today was my first day. It was horrible, I got no training and it is a pretty dangerous job, it's installing sewer and drainage piping. I don't mind hard work, but I had no idea what to do and felt useless. My co workers are either assholes or idiots. My foreman is nice, but he hasn't trained me to do anything and expects me to figure everything out on my own.So I'm thinking of just not showing up tomorrow. I got a call about another job today and did not answer because it wasn't safe to do so at the time, but they left a message and asked me to call back, so I think I will tomorrow. Thoughts? Also I can't go in tomorrow and call about the other job because I'm always in a trench with excavators all around.
- Just don't show up! Your life is worth more than a job, this job. Go for the other job! Your safety is all that should matter to you.
- Q:I saw a questionable documentary about 25 years ago which showed the cross section of a geode with a perfectly formed ceramic disk partly embeded in the crystal and partly exposed in the gas cavity. Was that just a fake, or has anyone among the scientific community ever seen or heard that it is authenic. If so can you produce a link to a reputable site which has documented research that has been done on the object? Thanks
- A load of crap....there is stuff like this all over used in an attempt to prove a young Earth - compatible with the Bible etc.
- Q:Just looking for a ballpark estimate. Thanks.
- if the excavator is the right size and the trucks keep on dumping the excavated soil, one day will be enough.Ask a groundworks contractor to give you a price
- Q:i have one male about three inches long and two femals two inches long (head to tail)
- That is hard indeed. i had a pair for 2 years and they never ever mated. Substrate: Try to use the excavator burrowing clay. This is fairly easy to keep clean and if given proper care you should only need to clean it every 6 months. Another on is reptibark or a mixture of dirt and sand 4:1 (without fertlizer). Lighting: You should use a 5.0 UVB light. Like Repti-Sun 5.0. Try to keep the theme rainforest-ish. Don't use heat rocks because it will burn their stomachs. If using a ten gallon cage I recommend using a 25 watt spotlight as it is very weak and won't burn your lizards while still giving them the heat they need. Branches and hides can be placed in the tank. They will climb branches and these are good for basking. They will need the basking side to be of about 90 degrees and a cool side of 75-80 degrees. Other: Misting the cage once a day will keep them at a good humidity. Also give them a water dish that is deep enough for them to soak in. For feeding you can offer them mealworms, crickets, roaches, waxworms. They do not eat any vegetable matter. Clean the cage every 2 weeks.
