- Q: I have these lights fixtures in my kitchen, I don't know what they're call..but they are flush to the ceiling and uses these big light bulbs. I want to replace them with the pig tail light bulbs, will that set my light fixture on fire because I'm using the wrong light bulbs? Please help.....
- No, they're fine substitutes. You have recessed lights, and any pigtail light, (CFL, or compact fluorescent) is going to be much less wattage and therefore produce much less heat. More importantly your saving money ;D Sthckh is right, CFL's won't last if a dimmer is in the mix.

- Very basically house lights shine on the the audience, stage lights on the actors. There are any number of types of stage lights, the most typical being par cans. Lights that bathe the entire stage in color are generally referred to as wash lights, and lights that highlight only a part of the stage are spot lights (a moving spot light is called a follow spot). - 4K lights have an output close to flourescents or mercury lights 5K lights - often called full spectrum would be a closer match to daylight 6K (6500K) lights would be even better.
