- Q: I will have 100lbs of live rock and I want to know if his is fine? Not the full length of the aquarium but not far from it. 1 daylight 10k and a actinic 10k. I will get a timer and make the lights turn on at 7a.m. But before that, I wake up at 6 for school, so I will turn on room light. Its not that bright. Turn off room light at 7 and timer begins at 7. later at night timer will turn lights off at 7 and from 7-8 I'll have room light on. Led lights from 8p.m. To 6p.m. Will this be a good routine for a FOWLR set up? I also have live sand if that effects anything. The lighting is 24 watt each. Is this enough for LR and LS? Thanks for the help.

- Q: Kitchen and dining room lights are on the same breaker. Dining room lights and one kitchen light will not turn on. Checked the breaker know it works because other kitchen light works.
- After turning off breaker for safety I would open up the light that works and check that wiring is intact if wires are secure then go to the next in line which should be other kitchen light not working and my guess is that has to be disconnected wires. the wires will either be on screws of light base or marreted or even taped together, black to black and white to white. Failing that it means you have a break in the wire some where in the ceiling between good and bad light If your confident enough you could disconnect bad light wires at good light attach new wire there and pull through to good lamp

- Q: does black light paint show up in the dark without a black light?
- Fluorescent or black light paint seems to vibrate or glow because of the way UV light is reflected off it. Under normal light the colours are brilliant, but when seen under a black light, they emit an extra brightness. However, in the dark, they don't glow at all. Phosphorescent paint, also known as glow in the dark paint, absorbs UV light from the surroundings, then emits a greenish glow in the dark, for a short time, until the stored energy is depleted. They're two different things.
- Q: I have a 2001 Ford Mustang Gt, the brake lights are out, including the third brake light. I looked at the fuses (fuse 4133), they are fine and not broke, I then heard it could be the brake light switch do I replaced that as well. I had my girlfriend hit the brakes while in park and they worked! Then she hit the brakes again and they didn't work :(.. I checked then bought a continuity tester and and the light on the tester lit up on fuse 41 and that fuse 33 did not light up. I replaced fuse 33 with another 15 a fuse and it still does not light up when i test it so it seems that there is no power. Does anyone have any ideas as to why only that one fuse (33) does not work and how I can fix it so I can get my brake lights working again? Thanks
- The fuse is not an issue unless ALL of your exterior lights and even your dash lights are bye-bye. They share the same fuse, I believe. Tail lights and interior dash lights come on when you turn the parking lights on, so that makes sense.

- Yes they will and yes you can use LEDs. BUT.... different plants have different lighting requirements. They sell several different types of LEDs for plants, but for plants that would grow outside in full sun most growers would consider them inferior to more intense lighting, but they seem to offer good light output for wattage used and they can be had with different spectrum's designed to be more efficient than others. One brand that is popular is the 90watt. UFO design. They also have a 300 watt type. Depending on what your growing you might want to add supplemental lighting of a different type too.
- Q: i think i understand light years but to get to say the sun its 7 light minutes to get to the moon its light seconds etc what the hell is the difference?
- A light year is how far light can travel in one year. A light minute is how far light can travel in one minute. A light second is how far light can travel in one second. So a light minutes is 60 times as far as a light second. If the sun in 7 light minutes from the earth , then if something flicked a switch and turned off the sun at 9:00AM, we on earth would not be in the dark until 9:07. The sun would have been turned off for 7 minutes before it got dark here. ( Kind of like a water spigot at the top of a hill. When it is on, water runs down the hill. But when you turn it off, the water already on the hill keeps running until it has reached the bottom. Turning off the spigot does not mean the bottom suddenly has no water, what is in transit must still arrive.) Hope that helps.
