- Light here refers to visual light, like the sun, lamps etc., rather than something fluffy or weightless. So, for whatever story you're analyzing, look for references to fire, the sun, stars, that sort of thing. Also pay attention to references about the darkness, because there's usually a contrast between light and dark that illustrate a point.

- Very basically house lights shine on the the audience, stage lights on the actors. There are any number of types of stage lights, the most typical being par cans. Lights that bathe the entire stage in color are generally referred to as wash lights, and lights that highlight only a part of the stage are spot lights (a moving spot light is called a follow spot). Past that you get in to ellisoidals, fresnels, moving yoke lights, and specialty lights like gobos, oils etc.

- You DO NOT want to have only 1 light in your studio. Have multiples and have different ones. Don't just buy 5 florescent lights. You should get different types of light and put them around your set. Then you can just adjust the lighting on your subject by turning the lights off or on when needed more or less light. As for color, just buy normal but strong lights. You can always put on color gels on it for color.

- The correct answer is the dipped light dipped meaning a low beam of light. Hazard Lights are the flashers as most people call them, and they are not going to helped you in a tunnle, and Spot Lights are like the ones on the side of fire eqiuptment, police cars, and on the top of some off road vehicles, and they are not for street use, nor are the Hazard Lights,except when the trafic slows , or you are off of the road with repairs. It would be dangerous to attempt a tunnel with just flashing lights, or lights that blind the oncoming taffic, both of those senerios are scary.
