- When I bought a twin I had the same problem. The salesman I bought my matress and frame from referred me to Home Depot or Lowe's. I haven't gone yet, but he said they have these feet or stands that elevate your bed. I don't know how high they go, though. College kids have been using cement blocks for decades to do the same thing. Otherwise, you might have to search online for a platform bed frame that is made properly to offer that much elevation.
