Q: Hello,I would like to know if anyone is aware of a solar power panel, such as GoalZero, that can charge a digital cameras battery pack. I have a Canon SLR and would like a panel to not only charge my AAA's batteries, Droid, and GPS, but most imprtantly the battery pack for my SLR.I haven't been able to find an adapter to charge a battery pack, as most solar panels utilize USB ports. The battery pack that comes with the camera must be installed into a device that plugs into the wall outlet.I would appreciate your help.Thank you all in advance.
it's a whole lot easier to by extra batteries than get a solar charger. i searched for years to find something worth carrying and found nothing. i got 3 extra batteries for my Panasonic Lumix TS2. now i'm good for about 4 days video and pictures and it cost me $45. Got an extra cell phone battery for $11 and got 4 rechargeable batteries for my GPS that will last 3 days for $8. in other words it cost me $64 and i'm good for any long weekend. got the rechargeable AA at the source (radio shack) and the other batteries through philoshop.ca
Q: I just won a Hasee MJ 125 netbook and when I try to charge it, yellow light comes out instead of lavender light (that means it's charging). When I turned on the power, the laptop doesnt recognize the battery pack. I pulled the power cord out, the laptop turned off.How can I make the laptop recognize the battery pack? Please help. Thanks!
remove the battery and put it back in
Q: i recently bought a laptop and i was instructed that the initial charging time for the battery should be 8 hurs, but there are some people to say that such is a thing of the past and li ions no longer need that long of an initial charging time.
For the initial charge you need to charge it for 8-12 hrs. Then each time you charge it it will be fully charged in about an hour. The charge last a long time and the battery last a long time.
Q: I have the controller for it but it didn't come with the battery pack. There is one listed on OKorder for $40 and I heard there is a non-official pack that will work. Any help would be great.
Depending on the State and city you live in there are still game stores (other than gamestop and EB) that carry a wide variety of used merchandise for all platforms. This includes games, systems and all accessories. Try looking up stores online or in the yellowpages.
Q: I need to build a battery pack that will last a min 2hrs to power a motor through a speed controller. The motor will be run at the slowest speed possible.Motor Specifications:? Torque: 12.0kg/cm? Rated Voltage: 12.0V? Operating: 4.5 - 18V max? Current - No load: 70mA? Current - Full load: 1380mA? Gear Ratio:
You need to do two things to work this out as you have not provided enough detail. Step one: Determine average motor current over the two hour period. Step two: Calculate the required AH (amp hour) rating required for the batteries. Step one: connect an ammeter to the supply side of the speed controller. Run the motor at the speed you require. Measure the current. (lets assume 300mA) Step two: Battery Capacity. Lets say you need 3 hours run time. 300mA * 3 hours 900mAhours required. Check the AH rating of your batteries. (lets assume they are 450mAH rated) Building the battery pack: You neeed 8 batteries in series to get the required 12V. But if you did this you would only have a 450mAH rated battery pack. You need to double that, so put another 8 batteries in series. That will give you 900mAH which is what you require. (total 16 batteries) If you have 900mAH batteries you would only need 8. If you have 450mAH battaries you would need 16 (two parallel lots of 8) If you have 100mAH batteries you would need 72 batteries (9 parallel lots of 8)etc If you have 1800mAH batteries you will still need 8 to get the required voltage, but the motor will run aproximately twice as long as with the 900mAH solutions. Hope this helps!
Q: can i make an r/c receiver battery pack using regular AA batteries.
Sure , but if the model is drawing power from the same battery pack (eg an electric plane) you will find it expensive to use non rechargable batteries. Many models that have electric motors have high current demands , which normal AA batteries cannot deliver. That is why they use battery packs made from Li-ON cells or similar. Li-ON packs pack the most power verses weight. ,,in some models though this may not be important. It all depends upon your application.
Q: How do rechargeable batteries work? I need to write a paragraph on them, so it can be brief information I've searched google and couldn't find much
keep looking.
Q: . I could not pick it up for 6 weeks and it sat idle, Just received it and the IMA battery level is at only 5 lines near the bottom of the gauge. I a still not able to register it for another week.have i damaged the IMA battery?. Also does the IMA battery charge while car is idling?. I tried that for an hour, with no change on the gauge. I did take a chance and drove it around the block once, and the top left gauge indicated it was charging, but no change on the IMA side(it was about 1/2 mile. Also note while sitting the weather averaged 27-35 degrees for almost the whole month.
hold the rpm at 3000 for 5 minutes and the battery gauge should show full charge, a 13 year old ima battery is most likely going to be bad, they usually last 6-8 years.
Q: Can you please give me a price on a Battery Pack UN34AS1-T for my laptop.
very confusing point. try searching over google or bing. that will help!
