Q:I was wondering how long these batteries would last in the new camera I was going to buy. If it doesn't have at least a 2 hour life then I wont buy it.
That's not really a question anyone can answer. When anyone, a company or otherwise tries to give battery life, the answer is always estimate, usually over estimated, and reflects optimum usage patterns etc. If you can find them, look for Sanyo AA Eneloops, which are superior, and hold their charge for a -long- time, whereas NiMH batteries lose 80% of charge after a month roughly.
Q:Why is the battery in series with the battery pack?
The parallel connection is rarely used because the battery voltage can not be absolutely equal to bring the battery pack from the discharge problem.
Q:if i recharge the battery will the message go away?canon sd450
yes because then your batteries will be full so it will only pop up if they are low.
Q:Can I convert a 11.1V 2200mAh 25C Li-Poly Battery Pack Deans with Deans Female to Small Tamiya Female to work with a stock M249 or with this burnout my motor?
You can build an adapter for practically anything. Whether the motor burns out depends on the battery you use, not the connector. They are two separate issues. If the motor is going to be burned out by the 11.1V 2200mAh 25C Li-Poly Battery Pack, then it will get burned out whether you use Deans or Tamiya connector. Having said that, the question is whether the Tamiya will be able to handle the current that the motor draws (without heating up and melting. That depends on a lot of factors, such as how much current the motor will draw, what kind of wires you are using, what kind of gears you are using, etc. Sometimes, that just requires trial and error.
Q:I have a portable dvd that is model number pdv-288 that my dad got me years ago and it has been working fine but then when when to charge the battery after I have not changed it in years the green light on the battery would flash green the hole time it has been charging for over 10hours now but when I un plugge it from change just have the battery on the dvd only so I can turn it on to watch a move the portable dvd player light will not turn green to let you know it is on but when it is plugged in to the wall with or with out the battery pack plugged it it will turn on but i will not turn on with just the battery packand I was wornding how can I fix it.
Battery packs are usually built in but an adapter to work on 120vac or 12vdc just plug in. You can DIY a battery pack to work at the adapter plug in.
Q:Hi, i have Acer 3830TG This laptop is amazing performance wise and also battery wise but only one disadvantage that is quite crucial to my purpose of use is the built-in battery.I often use the laptop to play high performance required games for an extended period of time and this is done while being chargedI found out that constantly fully charged battery will not last long Is there a way to be on AC power and not charge the battery, (laptop only running on ac power and battery is disabled) thanks in advance
Most laptops will allow you to just remove the battery and run straight off of ac power. Having had numerous batteries go bad on me in my lifetime, I'll be the first one to tell you that having it constantly plugged in definitely kills them.
Q:Is the battery pack good for 18650 or the polymer?
18650 and the polymer battery compared to 18650 relatively safe.
Q:Hi there is this battery pack thing that you charge then you can unplug it and take it with you and charge stuff with it without it being pluged in it can charge ipods phones etc by pluging ther plugs into it please help or if you have anything kind of like this please let me now and where i can get it or info on the above thanks

Q:1.5v 1 battery 4 how to splice into a battery pack?
First calculate the power and current through this resistor to derive the actual power, and then buy a power factor of 1 ohm higher than the actual power you calculate.
Q:I'm considering the Sony DSC W80 digital camera. It contains the Sony's NP-BG1 recharableable Li-ion battery pack. I am glad it comes with a battery pack that lasts longer than a standard 2xAA but:1. What is the lifetime of such a battery pack? How many reuses can i get out of it? 2. Are such Li-ion batteries or specially this Sony pack decent? Should i purchase a second battery pack and leave it on the shelf for a year when the 1st pack dies?
I wouldn't bother buying a second battery at this stage, because the battery that comes supplied with it will allow up to 340 shots per charge (which is a lot more than what other batteries provide). I'm not sure of how many times a battery can be charged, but it would be quite a large number of times. However, the real downside to this battery, is that it takes a very long 4.5 hours to fully charge it. But, you CAN buy a 1.5 hour, fast charger (which is an extra and expensive cost). Another very clever marketing idea from Sony, of course. If I were you, I would just use the one battery and takes steps to conserve it's life by turning off the LCD screen in-between shots, limit how long you review your images, and also limit your use of the flash. You can also turn off the LCD and use the viewfinder instead to compose your shots. Doing this, will give you lots more battery life. And make sure you give the battery a top up charge as often as possible. You don't have to wait for the battery to fully drain before you re-charge it.
