- Q: I tired putting tea lights in a glass fish bowl full of water and the tea light flame was on the edge of the glassa few minutes later it crackedis this from the heat? is it just cheap glass? would thicker glass be better? Is it that the bowl was too full? It was about 3/4 fullDoes anyone have any remedies? I am using this idea for my wedding.
- the heat difference of heat at the bowl make the crack .like you put hot water in chill glass .even if you put the thick glass this will crack .so better put water proff under water light in the bowl which you can find in aqua: shop with 12/24 DC voltage
- Q: I have aluminum foil, olive oil, salt, pepper, hot sauce, red peppers, parsley, garlic and some onionThis is my first time baking chicken breast in the oven so I'm not really sure how long I should do it for or the steps to take (should I marinate the chicken in a bag for a couple hours or something?)I looked around the internet for exactly how long I should bake the breasts for and I couldn't get a solid answer however I think I'm going to cook it on 350 F for around 30 minutesSo any tips or directions anyone with experience here can give me? Thank's.
- Yes, they can look at things like thatThe inspector works for you, tell him your concerns and he will be sure to look at those things.
- Q: I measured the thickness of aluminum foil and got 0.04mmNow I have to find how many atoms that isHere is what I did:0.04/26.980.0015(6.02e23)8.93e20Is this correct? If not, how do I solve for this?
- You have divided the thickness of the foil by the atomic mass of one aluminium atomThis is not the way to start You need to divide the thickness of the sheet by the diameter of a single aluminium atom then you will have the answer straight awayThe diameter of an Aluminium atom is 286 x 10^-12 m 2.86 x 10^ -10 m or 2.86 x 10^-7mm Number of atoms 0.04 mm / 2.86 x 10^-7 mm 0.014 x 10^7 1.4 x 10^5 atoms
- Q: i had asked someone and they had said thats their the same, but obviously the interceptors go faster
- I'm sorry i can't comment the way i would like without fear of getting that email about a bad response for insulting a question giver.
- Q: I don't have a baking pan or anything and I was just wondering if it was safe to place garlic bread on aluminum and cook it in the oven? Thanks :]
- Yes ,perfectly safe ,fold the foil into a cookie sheet type shape, then throw a little oil or butter on it before placing bread(make sure to use some potholders when done, because the foil conducts heat very fast)
- Q: i need it quick for school project uld not find much through google or wiki.can some one help me out?

- Q: A 10.0 V battery-operated bottle warmer heats 60.0 g of glass, 2.30 ? 10^2 g of baby formula, and 2.50 ? 10^2 g of aluminum from 25.0°C to 85.0°C(Hint: Assume that the specific heat of baby formula is about the same as the specific heat of water.) a.) How much charge (in C) is moved by the battery? (b) How many electrons per second flow if it takes 4.00 min to warm the formula? electron(s)
- What ever makes you comfortableI sleep on top of everythingAnd depending where you live, water from tap usually is almost identical to distilled waterI personally have both but if I'm near the sink, then I'll drink tapIt the same thing really where I live.
- Q: I found my old silver amethyst ring at the bottom of my jewelry box and I don't have any silver cleaner/polishwhatever it is you're supposed to use.It seems like I watched this show once where this woman poured water softener into a foil-lined pan and put her silver in it for cleaning'Cause I remember trying to find a quot;water softenerquot; to buy and all I could find was big whole-house softening or filtration equipmentAnd I started to wonder if regular laundry liquid fabric softener would do the same thing?AnythingI just need some way of getting the tarnish off and shining my ring upThx in advance! D
- Combine 1 Tablespoon salt + 1 Tablespoon baking soda with warm water in a glass or plastic bowlPlace a piece of aluminum foil and your jewelry into the water and let soak for 1 hourRemove and rub with a dry clothAlternatively, you can use washing soda: From Peter Rowe: A few notes from a professional jewelerThe same process works, slightly faster, using just “washing soda (sodium carbonate)” Found in the laundry aisle at the grocery storeNo salt with thatAlso, warm water speeds it up a bitIt’s important that the silver be in actual contact with the aluminum foil (you can also just use an aluminum pan rather than foil, the silver still has to be in contact with itPlain aluminum, not anodized or coatedWhat this does is to cause an electrolytic reaction (like a battery) that reduces the silver and copper sulphides (the tarnish) back to silverSo it works on any silver, including jewelry, so long as it’s actually a silver surfaceMuch jewelry is rhodium plated, so it won’t work thereBut that stuff doesn’t tarnish, so no confusionAlso OK for silver plate, not just solid silverOne important note is that this doesn’t polish the silverIt changes the black or discolored silver back to a white colorBut that can look still less than cleanIf it was badly tarnished, it will be a dull white to cream colorThen use any decent silver polish paste or cream, or a rouge cloth, to restore the actual shineWhile this sounds like extra work, it’s a lot faster to just shine it than to have to actually remove the tarnish via that polishingAnd for only slightly tarnished ware, you may not need to do anything else.
- Q: So I made a few papier mache sculptures of African ladies and I used non-acidic paper and tissue, flour and water paste, aluminum foil and wire for the armature, covered the pm in a thin layer of plaster to smooth it out, and I painted over it with acrylics and then sealed it and it also has decorations like glass beads and stone and boneAnd I let it dry good at each stageI like them alot and want them to last for all my life, I'm 16, will they? How long would they last? Is there any way I can make papier mache last longer?
- 350 degrees-yes longer than 30 minutes-no
