Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic cellulose ether, made by natural high polymer cellulose as raw material and series of chemical processing. They provide water retention and cohesiveness to mixtures. With special modification, it can be used to control thickening, water demand, workability, sag resistance, strength and other important properties of the final product.

Masonry Mortar
Masonry mortar is composed of binders like cement or lime and some other aggregates. It is used for brick or block laying.
Masonry mortar is becoming increasingly popular for its easy handling. After hardening, good adhesive and compressive strength are required for this application. It enhances pot life and provides water retention as well as good workability. Additionally, it prevents bleeding or material-separation and crack formation.

- Q: Can anyone recommend me a multivitamins that DOES NOT CONTAIN the ingredients magnesium stearate or stearic acid? I have heard reports on how both of these chemicals are harmful, and I have just found out that they are in ALL the vitamins I have been taking regularly for awhile now. - it sounds as if you have been taking supplements bought at at supermarket or high street chemist. When I ran a health food shop, all my suppliers provided supplements with a healthy list of ingredients - so I suggest that you have a chat with an independent health food store - if in UK look for the NAHS logo (National Association of Health Stores) - if you do not have one of those handy, then look for the manager at a Holland Barret store (in UK)
- Q: I am helping a friend rehab a house where the occupants were very, very nasty. Probably a crack house. Cats had filled virtually every cabinet and room with **** and piss. - Use a shellac primer like Kilz after cleaning the surfaces well with TSP (trisodium phosphate). An oil base paint, as mentioned above, is a better choice over latex as it seals and wears better. Paints made for bathrooms have anti-fungal/anti-mold additives in them. Maybe have the place fumigated to reach into the tiny places and aired out well before staring the painting projects. You should be able to rent a handheld or stationary fumigator. An ozone machine can also help. They are rentable, also. The rental folks will tell you how to use it.

- Nicotine isn't an additive. It is in the tobacco plant itself. The Latin name for the tobacco plant is Nicotiana. However, different species of Nicotiana have different levels of nicotine. Turkish tobaccos are relatively low in nicotine, next are Virginias, and Burley's have the most. I think that Kentucky is pretty high in nicotine too. Anyway, cigarettes are usually a blend of these kinds of tobaccos (Nicotiana). As far as additives, the most popular additive-free brand is Natural American Spirit.

- I think you are referring to the fact that it is not filtered to the point of removing all sediment, not is ascorbic acid added to keep it from browning (as with regular clear apple juice. What you may have tried was sparkling organic apple cider, which has carbon dioxide added to make it fizz. Both apple juice and apple cider are very high in natural sugars, so eating an apple (skin and all) is healthier than drinking the juice or cider.
