- Q: My excavator squeezed to the workers on the construction site, I only insured the business of three, one hundred thousand, the insurance company said to be deducted from the strong risk 120 thousand, and then pay, said I did not guarantee to pay strong insurance.
- Specifically, don't have to pay high insurance on the excavator, excavator does not run on the highway (because you are carted to the site), the excavator does not belong to the vehicle compulsory insurance for traffic accident liability compulsory insurance, this is not your traffic accident (he could not happen traffic accident) but, production accidents. It has nothing to do with strong insurance. Besides, even if you go to the state, you are not allowed to go up. Generally, such insurance companies pay for it. A few weeks ago, the Pacific did not lose, the court entrenched lost.
- Q: ...what the biggest tool you have at your house?
- A table saw or a router? Really, my dad LOVES wood working/building so he has all these tools in our garage.
- Q: Does it take longer and more difficult to dig a foundation than to put up floors of a building. How about cost
- Interesting question. Digging the hole for the foundation is much faster than putting up the floors. Using a house as an example, the excavator usually can dig the hole in a few hours. Then, one day to pour the footings for the foundation, another day to form and pour the walls (if using that type of foundation). If using block wall foundation, figure a few days. Now comes the framing. Depending on the size of the house, it will take anywhere from 1-3 days to frame in the first floor deck. Figure another 2-7 days to frame the first floor walls, depending on the crew size and complexity of the plan. Repeat for any additional floors and then roof. There is no way to give you a cost. You have not given any information, such as size and type of building, location, construction materials, etc. Hope this helps.
- Q: Where were the Dead Sea Scrolls took after they had been found?
- Jerusalem.
- Q: A few months ago we had some excavation work done by a licensed and insured excavator in our back yard near the well about 15 feet or so. He removed a lot of ledge and tree stumps and buried them to level yard. With in a week we got a terrible odor and bacteria. We have treated the well twice and the bacteria keeps returning w/ awful smells and our water tests are all over the place. We had great drinking water prior to work done. Because the bacteria has returned once again the well may be damaged and we are looking into that now. If the well is damaged does his insurance cover our damages? How do we find out???

- Q: I'm going to build a sign on my land that is approximately 30m x 12m and 3m above the ground.I want to design and construct it myself, so please look at my plans and tell me what I need to improve/fill in the blanks.16m I-beam (x12) (12m high sign + 3m above ground + 1m below ground to footings)Corrugated sheets for panel face30m steel pipe (x12) (to run horizontally to connect the corrugated sheets, and then I-beams connect to steel pipes)Footings (spread footings)excavate 1m for the footings using excavatorcompact soil using vibrating plate compactorpour concrete for footing?how do I make the footing and attach the I-beams?place sign structure with a crane truckThanks, and if I successfully make it I'll send some money to whoever helped me the most in a few months.
- How many verticle I beams are you using? The foundation needs to go below the frost line. The strength depend on exact conditions of soil etc. However 1 meter does not seem deep enough for that size sign. But it depends on the spacing of the I beams. Also depends on where the sign is and what damage it may cause if it blows over.
- Q: Has anyone tried the excavator substrate? I'm thinking about trying it with my bearded dragons....?
- being a bearded dragon ownner myself prefer sand . i think it is the best because it is like there natural envirment and it is much easier to clean. for example it dosen't cake onto the cage and if your lizards poops you can get a sifter and easily get it out without fully cleaning the cage. Also it keeps very warm during the day(just the right temp. for the lizard) and when its cold (at night w/ out a light) It stays at about an average temp. plus they DO NOT need to dig they normally bask... hope i helped!!!!!!
- Q: My company ask me to do a cost study on buying heavy machineries (e.g. Shovel, Excavator, 16 tonne Tipper). Can anybody give me an advice on whether to buy or to rent the machineries for long term use. Which one is more cost effective in term of usage and maintenance.
- Renting might be a little more expensive up front, but maintenance on heavy machinery can be very expensive. If your company purchases one and a hydraulic hose breaks it is costly not only to fix but the amount of time it takes. If you just rent the machine and something breaks the rental company will replace either the entire machine or the hose, which costs you company no money to fix just the time. So in the long run it might be better to rent because then you do not have to worry about maintenance and fixing it when it breaks down. Parts for heavy machinery are definitely not cheap at all. I would recommend renting the machine.
