The III generation biomass burner promoted in July 2014:

1. We use the casting modularized hearth. The boiler core is the only thing to be replaced in the post maintenance of burner. It is cheap and easy to change the modular fittings.

Q: C'mon, I know there are people out there who have gone temporarity insane from love.: My worst 'bunny boiler' moment was in my last relationship. If the boiler froze and expanded at all, the seals between the boiler sections have expanded and will leak. Not might leak, but WILL leak. If you are not familiar with boiler and cast iron principles, please do not attempt to thaw it out and turn it on. Boilers are put together in cast iron sections. Gaskets are placed between sections. The sections are pressed-fit at the factory. Some have through bolts to hold them together. Then, the outside sheet metal skin is put on to make it look nice. I very strongly advise you to have a licensed heating contractor specializing in boilers do the work. For the most accurate advice, please contact the boiler manufacturer. Give them all the details - temperature, how long the boiler was frozen, etc.. They can help.

Q: after knowing the amount of steam required, how to know the volume of water required to be in boiler and what is the best heating surface (2/3 or more ?): what okorder /... In such a case just keep adding tube length to the section which boils the water until you get enough mass of steam boiling- add length to the superheater if you want it hotter.

Q: I had a problem with heating system pump, it was screeching when I turned on the heating , I had the pump changed , now I can hear the pump working but the boiler comes on as usual and only works for between 30 seconds to 2 minutes, the pipe off the top of the boiler gets hot: Almost sounds like the water is not circulating and the boiler is reaching temp and shutting down. If you have an amp meter try sticking that on one of the pump wires to make sure the pump is running. If it is, you may have a check valve stuck shut. I would call back the person you had change your pump and tell him you heat is not working. You mentioned the pipe off the top of the boiler gets hot, do the pipes 10-15ft away from the boiler on that same circuit get hot? If not than this again proves there is a restriction in the circuit. Q: Before the combi the shower was very sensitive but quick to adjust, so within a few minutes I could get it to a comfortable temperature. Now with the combi, it is either scalding hot or freezing cold. My suspicion is that it is still just as sensitive but that it is taking ages to change i.e. it is too hot so I turn the knob to cool it down, nothing happens for ages so I turn it down again, then again, and finally it catches up and is freezing! Does this sound likely? We have been told that it is because the water pressure for our area isn't very good and so it is something that we will have to put up with. Thanks in advance!: A possible reason is your new combi-boiler. A combi-boiler provides hot water instantly which is fed from the cold water mains. So essentially, when you turn a hot tap on, it has the same effect on water pressure as turning a cold tap on. So the reduction in water pressure means the shower water can become hotter. Turning is down will take a while for the rest of the water that is hotter to come out of the shower system - and keep turning it down will make it cold when the hotter water is out of the system. This is the same when you keep turning it up. This is a slight problem in my house. I have an electric shower that runs from cold water mains, and as soon as someone turns any tap on (hot or cold), the water pressure is slightly reduced and the shower water starts getting hotter. I hope this sort of helps?

Q: What do I do if my viessmann vitodens boiler 100 is showing 0.5 bar ? help, have no hot water or heating now:(?: Increase the water pressure on the boiler. There is a fexible filling loop fitted with a valve at one end to open the filler. Open, and fill to 1 and a half bar, then turn the valve off. Boiler should then be okay. If you start to lose water pressure often, then you have a faulty pressure valve and it has to be replaced. They cannot be repaired.
