In Europe aluminium experiences high rates of recycling, ranging from 42% of beverage cans, 85% of
construction materials and 95% of transport vehicles.Recycled aluminium is known as secondary aluminium, but maintains the same physical properties as primary aluminium. Secondary aluminium is produced in a wide range of formats and is employed in 80% of alloy injections. Another important use is for extrusion.
White dross from primary aluminium production and from secondary recycling operations still contains useful quantities of aluminium that can be extracted industrially.The process produces aluminium billets, together with a highly complex waste material. This waste is difficult to manage. It reacts with water, releasing a mixture of gases (including, among others, hydrogen, acetylene, and ammonia), which spontaneously ignites on contact with air;contact with damp air results in the release of copious quantities of ammonia
gas. Despite these difficulties, the waste has found use as a filler in asphalt and concrete.

- That's a pretty broad question. I think the best way to answer it is to give some general resources. See below for commonly used web sources for technical data on materials. I'm less well versed in plastics than metals, so I can tell you less about acrylic than aluminum and stainless steel. Aluminum is generally used where low weight is needed, although it's strength to weight ratio is similar to steel. Aluminum tends to have worse fatigue strength and tends to crack in cyclic loading, but sometimes where a cross-section is needed it can provide weight savings. Aluminum comes in sheets, tubes, rods, and can be cast. Stainless steel is more expensive and is used where corrosion resistance is important, in applications such as liquid containers, sanitation critical components such as kitchen utinsels, food preparation surfaces and sinks, and in medical equipment where blood and contaminants need to be cleaned and sterilized. It is also used in fasteners where corrosion resistance and strength are needed. Stainless steel is formed from sheets most often and available in tubes and rods, it is not practical for casting as far as I know.

They are both aluminum tube alloythey are both 3'' pipeIF i were you i'd really go with an AEM over these two brandsthe reason is this: the AEM is made out of 2.5'' tubing, which is much easier to fit into the tC's engine bayyou lose about 1hp using the AEM, but its nothing noticeable (you dont really notice anything but sound from a CAI)To install a Fujita or injen on it, you need to remove your drivers side wheel, wheel well liner, battery, battery mount, front bumper and your headlights.plus the other stuff you'll have to take off regardlessits a major painAnd i dont think you'll want to risk that with your beautiful new tC.The AEM one is also cheaperIts the same thing you'd get if you bough the TRD one from Toyota (its an AEM with TDR badges)SO its up to you, lose 1hp or spend 12 hours installing your CAItake it easy man!
