Q: 1-Of all elements, fluorines atoms attaract electrons most strongly. When fluorine atoms form cvalent bonds with other kinds of atoms, are the bonds polar or nonpolar?2-Use the periodic table to find the number of valence electrons for calcium[ca],aluminum[al],rubidum[rb],oxygen[o],sulfur[s],and iodine[i].then use that information to predict the formula for each of the following compounds: calcium oxide, aluminum iodide, rudidium sulfide, and aluminum oxide.3-Elemenr z is a yellow solid that melts at 100 c and does not conduct electricty.what type of bond holds the emelents atoms toghet?explain the reasoning for your answer.4-Explain why a solid ionic compound does not conduct electricity, but the compound will do so when melted or dissolved in water.5-suppose you were given two mineral crystals that looks alike.how would you determine the idntity of each?IF YOU ANSWER ALL THESE FIVE QUESTIONS,I MEAN ALL FIVE YOU WILL BE CHOSE AS BEST ANSWERED.]NO RUDE ANSWERED
I went over the problem and found that there was an error in a conversionThe thickness is in fact 1.6 10^-2mmI too have the same problem to do for my Chemistry class homework.
Q: What other terms can be used to refer to aluminum foil?

Aluminum foil is also known by several other names, including 'aluminum foil paper', 'kitchen foil', and 'foil wrap'. It is often referred to simply as 'foil' in everyday conversation. In some regions, it might also be called 'tin foil', although this is a misnomer since it's made of aluminum, not tin. Its thin and malleable nature makes it a versatile material in cooking, baking, and food storage.

Q: Calculate (one decimal place) the molecular mass for each of the following (include units)1.) sodium chromate2.) aluminum bromate3.) manganese (III) sulfite4.) CoCl2
Just use a garden hose and a couple shampoo bottlesDish soap is good tooI would do it in the front yard and tell your neighbors first so they don't think your weirdThan call an astronomerThe flow of water and soap should match the current of your provinceGood luck manLOL!!!
Q: I live in the states and she lives in canada about 1300 miles away, we have quite the thing for each other and we are total geeks, playing world of warcraft and league of legends all the time together xD anyways i have a high end PC i built and i want to bring it with me, can i safely do this on the plane? im assuming it would cost more, what can i expect for extra charges?
ceremic definately lolz (:
Q: Im referring to stuff like, chlorine and rubbing alochal, dry ice, and the aluminum foil and HCl one, if there are any others that give a gas build upCan u tell me what i need for it, and how safe (poison gases) it isIm looking for something like dry ice but not as hard to getI am planning on trying out an airsoft grenade for play.
Unfortunately the only bomb that is safe is a bomb with dry iceUsing Chlorine or HCL (which also has chlorine) will make Cl2 a gas that will damage lungs by breaking down the mucas and killing small organisms that live in all of our lungsWith dry ice you can not predict enough to make a stable bombThere are too many variables like temperature of the air and water, psi capacity of the container, and amounts of ice and water being usedYour best best for an airsoft grenade is one of the cheap paintball grenades.
Q: Hello, my friend wants to make something for her boyfriend and I suggested a two things I did in photography class in high school but I can't remember what the processes are called. The first one we did was taking a piece of cardboard, putting items on it, and covering it with heavy duty aluminum foilThen we toke a penny and traced over the areas where the objects were and pressed down the other pieces of the paper. The second one was where we toke tracing paper and traced over a picture of our choice with pencil, then we flipped the tracing paper and traced the other side with the pencilWe then flipped the paper back over and pressed the reverse side of the tracing paper to a poster board and traced the image on the poster board at different anglesAfterwards, we colored the images in.Does anyone know where I can get some photos or videos of these processes to show her? What are the names of these processes?Thank you!!
it's sounds like the first process was a relief capture, I'd just search for aluminum foil relief art in order to find out more about it, I've also included a link to a website i think might have what you're looking forthe second project is a tracing paper transfer, I couldn't find any online tutorials but i did find a a demo for how to transfer a drawing onto cloth which is the same basic ideait's the second linkhope these help!!

Q: Select the element(s) that will have one unpaired electron in the p orbitalS Ca Ne Al Cl?
Chlorine, sulfur and aluminum will have one or more unpaired electrons in a p-sublevelOnly chlorine and aluminum will have just one unpaired p-electronSulfur has two unpaired electrons in the p-sublevelNeon and calcium have filled p-sublevels.
