Q: I met a project to say how the performance of plastic floor ah? Is it a plastic painting made of plastic floor? More
How to say will do, as long as you put the illustration just fine. I am usually filled with dots.
Q: What is the difference between multi-layer solid wood flooring and solid wood flooring and laminate flooring?
This question is a bit complicated, simply say it solid wood flooring is the main material of wood to do the wood, so the natural texture, foot feeling good. Many solid wood is the surface of a wood is also a base composition of Dan grass grass Ji Yu wasteland factory. Strengthen the floor is mainly the substrate, the surface paper (both imported paper, imitation wood texture, there are other different colors) on the top attached to wear into. Wear-resistant in more than 6000 rpm as good anti-UV wear is not easy to wet, do not fade, good care.
Q: I'd like to know as the question states the average height of an office building 50 stories tall, from ground floor floor to the roof. TY :)
A 50 floor office building will always have a basement for parking or if not, it will be having a podium which might be around 4 to 5 levels. The ground floor also should be higher than the typical floor. Say: 1. Ground floor averages around 4.5 to 6m level 2. Podium averages from 3.1 to 4m level 3. Typical floors from 2.7 to 3.1m level Hence: GF = 4.5 Podium 3.1 x 5 = 15.5m typical floors = 2.7 x 44 = 138.8m say 140m from the Ground floor level (minimum)
Q: Lived for almost a year, with Bi Lizhufu trace of grams of the long-tan of the floor of the floor of the wax to fight their own, but after the floor appeared a block of the spot, which is the reason, how to solve it? The Thank you! More
Floor absorption function is not the same bar. You can try Amway floor oil, very easy to use. When the use of the floor, drag the floor (long kind) with the clothes do not wear up, in the old clothes on the floor oil, and then like the same as the mop, so completely dry And then go check, you will find really very new and very bright.
Q: My old flooring has quarter round trim at baseboards. I want to install laminate flooring over old, do I HAVE to take up the quarter round? Is there some other trim that can go on the new flooring edges that butts up to the existing quarter round?
Gently pry up the quarter round with a pry bar and mark it with tape as to where it goes. After you put your floor down you can put it back in place with a few finish nails. It sounds like a pain but it is the proper way to do your floor and cover the edges of the laminate. It will add a little more time to your project, but the results will be well worth it.
Q: We are putting in a brand new kitchen and are on a tight budget so plan to use a laminate floating floor. My question is should we put it down before we install cabinets and appliances, or install those first and then put the flooring around them? My husband wants to floor around them to save money, but I think it would look nicer to have the whole floor covered and then put everything on top. What do you think?
Couple of basic tips will go a long way. Order at least 10% more than the area you intend to floor. Before you start pick a direction to follow, and establish a pattern. You want to make sure you don't waste too much product, but break your seams up so they are not too close together as you proceed across the room. This is not always the longest wall. Keep in mind closets and doorways you will have to work with. Also what is the look you want, how do you want it to flow into other rooms. Undercut door jams before you begin. Pull off all old trim starting at one corner in the room write a number on the back of the trim and on the wall, so you will know which piece goes where. This is not always done, you can install new shoe (1/4 round) over the new floor and against the old trim instead. Remember than no room is square or any wall is straight. The best thing to do is snap a line down the middle of the room then measure over to the wall you want to start at and snap a line about one board width from the wall, but measure from the line you snapped. You may find that you will need to trim a portion of your first board to start with a straight line. Don't forget to leave between 1/4 and 1/2 inch spacing as per manufacturers instructions. Use pieces of scrap against the wood if you need to pound on something, never directly on the piece you are installing. Buy the threshold and termination strips that are made for your flooring product ahead of time. Take your time! Do not rush yourself or the job. It is better to live with your house torn up during the week until the next weekend than to try and rush the job. And of course the old carpenters golden rule - Measure twice - cut once.
Q: i live in canada and really like tatami. only one problem. are they like mats, or soft flooring, or hard flooring. basically is tatami flooring or just mats?? thanks!
it's recommended that you also do not wear shoes on this flooring as it wears down the tatami mats quickly. Hope this helps!
Q: Hey! :) so If any of you have seen my other question you will know I'm redecorating my room. I'm a dancer so I'm making space to mount a ballet barre on my wall. I have cork flooring in my room.Is cork floor bad for dancing on?It has a little give (it's a little soft) but it's not like hardwood so I'm worried it will rip (with soles of my ballet slippers and pointe shoes..)If it's a bad idea to dance on it (barre work), what should I do?I wouldn't be able to change my floors but is there something I can lay down on the floor?I could use a carpet for regular barre work and stretching but carpet is bad for pointe work... Any ideas of what I could do?
I do not recommend hardwood or any type of wood floor for ballet/pointe. Ideally, you want to have marley, if your existing floor is flat, you can just call up some dance floor companies to see if they have any reminants (small left over sections of professional dance floor) they can sell you. Let them know you need it for ballet and pointe, so they do not sell you something too slippery. Marley is semi permanent, meaning you just cut it to the size of your room and put over your existing floor. No glue, no prep needed.
Q: I'm redoing my bedroom floor (I live in a Mobile Home)Floating Floors were suggested.. >_>..I have no idea what they are?I have a few questions; Are they safe/DurableDo they move around when you walk? (Excuse my ignorance)What types of floating floors are there? How expensive will it be? (My room is 10x11 ft with a 8x3 ft closet)Will they withstand heavy furniture? (Beds/Dressers/Desks)And by the name floating, I get the impression that they are just sitting on the floor? (Ignorance, I know) Will you see the cracks, to the bottom of the floors by the wall.. ?Haha.I just need an explanation. [:Thanks <3
That is not ignorace it is an honest question. I was raised that if you didn't know something you asked a question and if someone made a sarcastic remark then they are the ignorant one. There is no such thing as a dumb or ignorant question as long as it is an honest question. Now floating floors work fine but the important part is that you get your flooring with in about an 1/8 of an inch of the wall (you don't have to be perfectly at 1/8 but really close to that) once you have your flooring installed get some quater round and put that down at the bottom of your wall and nail it with a small finish nail. This will do two things, 1: It will cover the gap at the edge of your floor giving it a nice finished look and 2: it will help hold your flooring in one place. Most so called experts will say that it floats so it can expand and contract with the changing temps, and they are partialy right but your floor won't move much at all after you have it layed. I hope this answers your question.
Q: I am at floor 16 if i choose reset prestige can I still play floor 16 ? ( RUNESCAPE )( Please give a 1+ sentence answer to be voted as best answer and receive 10 points . )
This is how prestige works as best as i can explain it. Sorry if its still kinda confusing haha I may not be the best typer on this subject. If you set your prestige to zero, when you finish a new floor, your prestige will be one, and will give your the equivalent points for floor one. if you now do floor 16, your prestige will be two. if you now do floor 6, your prestige will be three. So it kinda works like that, your prestige is equal to how many individual floors you've plundered. now, if you keep doing floor 16 over and over after you reset your prestige, its just gonna stay at prestige 1, because you've only completed one floor, which is the floor you keep doing over and over again. A cool method to try is, to reset your prestige, then do your floor 16 and get prestige one, then go back and do floors 1,2,3,4, etc, and each time you do a new floor, your prestige will be one level above the floor level, and you'll get a higher average. So, it goes like this Prestige is reset Floor 16 completed, prestige goes to one. This will be a bad score because your floor 16 score will be averaged out with level 1 prestige. Floor 1 completed. Prestige goes to two. the points from the prestige level two will be higher than your floor level one, so you'll get a higher average. Floor 2 completed. Prestige goes to three. Same as before, you get a higher average. Now, if you complete a floor you've already completed, your prestige stays the same, and you get no bonus, because prestige only gives you any points on the very first time you complete a new floor. So if you re-do floor 2, your prestige will stay at three, but give you no points. Now, if you do floor 3, your prestige will go up to 4, since you haven't done floor 3 yet, and give you a higher average for points. Did that make sense? oh and to just answer your question plainly - yes - you can do floor 16 if you reset prestige.
