Q: I have limited space in my boys' room and I recently got a twin bed frame. It's kinda shorter than a regular bed so I'm guessing it was used for a trundle bed or for a small child. My older son has one of those beds with the drawers underneath it. If I get him an adjustable bed frame, is there any way I can put my youngest's bed underneath it??Any ideas on how to make a trundle bed? I don't want to use bunk beds because we have a trailer and the ceiling is low. I priced some trundle beds on line and they are a little pricey. So I just wanted to see if I can make one myself a little bit cheaper. Thanks...: usually mattresses have two spots with little rope pulls on the side, maybe you could add a little piece to each so it could be pulled out at night. I'd go with the Ikea furniture, and sell the other ones on Craigslist-

Q: We are changing over from my sons crib to a twin bed for him and we are looking for a good bed rail. I prefer something over 40inches as he rolls around a lot I've read many bed rails require a box spring. His Bed doesn't have a box spring with it, as the boxspring itself is made into the bed. I've also read about bed rails that don't fit snug to the bed, this would be something of concern as I've mentioned before my son moves around a lot most nights sometimes likes to sleep up against the railing on the crib it self.Where did you purchase yours as well? However, I have found that the best option for bedding for my guinnea pig is aspen shavings. Be SURE not to get pine or cedar because the oils on them can be harmful for their respiratory system.
