Other beddings that are okay include Aspen bedding, CritterCare (Wal-Mart's version of Carefresh) and I've had luck with Kaytee Total Comfort until my gerbil had a stroke on it after he'd been living on some from a brand new bag (suspicious) But yes, Carefresh is perfect for your chinchillas. Good luck! EDIT: Oh, make sure that before you put ANY new bedding in your chinchilla's cage, that you thoroughly check it for anything that looks abnormal (moving specks, bugs, etc.)

Q: affordable yet durable kids bunk beds.: I just bought a metal tubing bunk-bed for my grand children at IKEA. I chose this one because they are boys and I know they will think it is a jungle gym in a few years. I picked it out by walking around and shaking all the bunk-beds. This one would not shake. Q: We have had problems with bed bugs before as a friend had brought them here. But as I googled bed bugs I couldn't help but notice that all of the nymphs are a skin like color. I have many nymphs, but they are black, not a light color. And the adults are also black not brown. It is for sure a bed bug? Or is it something else? Because everything points to BB minus appearance. And please, no links as to how to get rid of them, trust me, I've prolly visited them all. Thank you.: Some bed bugs are dark until they feed on blood. Other bugs that get in the beds are crabs. A friend could have brought them there. If you are in an apartment, they can come from next door.
