Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- I am a big fan of the Twisted Metal games. Twisted Metal 3 and 4 were for the Playstation 1 also. I haven't played those games in years. But to me, Twisted Metal 3 was better than Twisted Metal 4 though and Twisted Metal 4 was probably the game that sucked. But it will be very hard to find Twisted Metal 3 and 4 because those games are pretty old. Twisted Metal Black for the PS2 was the best Twisted Metal game ever made. Twisted Metal Black has this dark, gritty and spooky atmosphere to the game that the other Twisted Metal games didn't really have and it's so realistic. The story mode in Twisted Metal Black is awesome too. I beat Twisted Metal Black with every character even the secret characters, and I think that there were like 5 secret characters. In Twisted Metal Black it's pretty unique how you unlock secret players. For instance, to unlock one secret vehicle in the game, you have to shoot down a jumbo jet that flys overhead around the level. Then you have to find where the airplane crashes and then drive inside of the plane to locate the secret vehicle. Oh yea, and one more thing SweetTooth in Twisted Metal Black is awesome. When you are about to use SweetTooths Special attack, his icecream truck transforms and his truck looks kinda like a robot on wheels and then when you use his Special attack, he shoots out tons of homing missiles out of 2 rocket launcher arm guns and then his truck transforms back down again once the attack is over. To talk about the realism of Twisted Metal Black, whenever you use a missile or any type of weapon, the missile will come out of the side of the vehicle and then when you shoot the missle, it goes back inside of the car to reload and then the newly reloaded missile will pop back out again until you shoot it. If you are a Twisted Metal fan, you must get Twisted Metel Black, it's the best in terms of gameplay and storylines.

- All cheaper, non-precious metals are called 'base metal'. That includes copper, brass, bronze, pewter, iron, tin, zinc and so on. Precious metal are gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium and a few others. Metals are 'precious' because they are rare (expensive), beautiful etc. A lot of base metal is very beautiful on it's own (I love solid copper and brass/bronze jewelry), but most commercially available base metal jewelry is plated (with gold or rhodium/silver) to look like precious metal. That's where the problems start. The plating wears off after a short while and the base metal starts being visible. If it is pinkish, it is copper. So, as far as I am concerned, you are fine if you buy solid base metal. That way, the base metal is polished and sealed (check out the link below for some shiny copper earrings) and you can clean it to a bright color. It's the plated metal, I would stay away from, especially for a ring.
