Q: i wanna sell vacuums door to door how do i do this?: Aiming high aren't we?

Q: Every dog I've ever owned (of at least four different breeds) reacted to vaccum cleaners oddly. They bolt in terror at the first sight of it, and sometimes bark hysterically. What would be the cost??Any help thanks: Look at the hand held vacuums they have in the store. If the housing is plastic, it is a 99.99% chance it is injection molded. If it is made of metal it could be extruded if it has a constant cross section along its length. Aluminum is a very common extrusion metal. I would doubt any high volume hand vac would have a forged housing, but I don't get out that much. Casting and machining is a possibility. As far as costs, it all depends on the life of the tool, and the number of cavities for a mold or a casting. If you mold/cast one part at a time it is much more expensive than two or four or eight. The more you mold at once, the bigger the molding/casting machine and the more expensive the mold/casting. So it depends on how many you want to make in a given amount of time, and how many through the life of the product. Finally, for your modification, do you have a design with drawings and a volume target? That is the first step to figuring out costs.

Q: My Bissell finally died. I used to love Bissell but that was the worst vacuum I had ever bought. I am looking at canister vacuums now. I see the Kenmore has a high rating as well as the Electrolux and the Miele. I want something that will last and has low noise and cleans carpets wonderfully. Any knowledgeable vacuumers out there?: Hi, it depends on what sort of vacuum cleaner you like to use (Uprights, cylinder or even wet dry cleaners)? what sort of floor you have, carpet or hard floor? the cylinder's are better for hard floors the uprights are better for carpets.? We have been repairing vacuum cleaners of over 30 years now we think the best cylinder cleaners are miele very good suction also built very well for the uprights the sebo cleaners are very very good, quiet, reliable, good suction power robustly built. Both are not the cheapest cleaner on the market but you pay for what you get! both products are made in Germany, they do know how to make good products!

Q: YAHOO ANSWERS TOOK MY PREVIOUS QUESTION DOWN SO NOW I HAVE TO ASK AGAIN - does it need it to vacuum: It completely depends on the vacuum cleaner whether the hose must be in place or not for the floorhead to have suction. Most of the cheap vacuums require the hose to be holstered because suction is through the hose, not other ducting. Dyson is an example of a vacuum that can be used with or without the hose in place.

They are now about $1,500 to buy. I was not so pleased after awhile with Kirby. I now own a SEBO Automatic 4X made in Germany. It is truly the world's best made vacuum, with a life time guarantee on the drive belt. That only cost me $500.00 a year and a half ago, now $600. new. So well worth it. Truly. Kirby is loud, heavy, etc. My SEBO is lightweight, and not as noisy. One of the best investments I have ever made. As for cleaning your carpet -- Kirby usually only does a small area -- for demonstration purposes only. Take care.

Q: It's really a simple engineering principal, four fixed wheels like to go in straight lines. Where as a ball can move it in any direction.So in clear choice, easy turns with minimal efforts, or do it the old fashioned way.It's quite amusing that a vacuum cleaner and its complexities completely destroy Evolution. And yet it's treated as fact, sigh.: Vacuum cleaners EVOLVED from fixed wheels to a pivoting ball, yet we still have both. And *boom* goes the dynamite.
