FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: What purpose does it serve? Is it safe to assume the tile will settle half of the trowel thickness? For example, if using a 1/4 inch trowel, will the tile settle 1/8 inch when set in place? Thanks for any help/advice!
Thinset cements the tile to the subfloor. The settling depends on the tile, and whether or not you press it down.
Q: If you butt the all the tiles without any spacing, will the tile crack or bubble up due the expand and contract?
You should always leave a little gap for a grout joint. Variations in tile size does occur and the gap allows for this. Nearly all stone material expands and contracts with heat and cold so the possibility of your tiles cracking, becoming drummy or lifting are increased by not having a gap.
Q: We currently have carpet throughout our house, but due to having dogs, we hate the carpet. While hardwood or laminate seems the logical choice, tile would hold up much better to their toe nails. My concern is how having tile throughout the entire house (even in the living room, computer room, bedrooms, etc) would look. I know it is done sometimes, but I just can't picture it in my mind. How do you feel about it? Would the tile (it would be very neutral in color) be okay through the entire house or should we go with laminate deal with the scratches when/if they happen?
wanting to change guest bedroom with tile or laminate flooring.. Have tile through out house. Any idea of what would look best?
Q: What is all porcelain called semi-tiles
This is the difference between the appearance of the two kinds of brick, then talk about the quality, whether it is all porcelain or semi-porcelain, if it is at the same price, then the glazed tile is exactly the same, wear the same, not the same place is clay , Because the firing temperature is not the same so the degree of magnetization is not the same so the water absorption is not the same, but that the actual point of the water absorption is said that the embryo is not glazed, whether it is all porcelain or semi-porcelain glaze will not absorb everyone tiles
Q: I wanted to do wall tiles with them. They are clear but I wanted to add color as well. Any ideas? I love decorating for less. Thank you.
=== 1st the wall tiles or any tile needs to have the porous back to apply the grout and adhere to both surfaces ==== and no you cannot use glass... it will fall off the wall and even if you paint the back side of the glass it still will not work... if you
Q: I have slate tile in now, but with sand underneath it. Is it possible for me to grout it into the cage? Is there a guide for this? Thanks.
A slate tile sounds great, I never thought of that. But grout is a terrible idea! It's chemical. Animals, esp. small ones with heat mats lamps, cannot be around chemicals like that. You're not even supposed to clean their cages with a sponge because of minor chemicals-they're very sensitive. There is no guide because that's a jerry rigged solution that isn't good for animals. And anyways if you grouted the tile in, you wouldn't be able to clean the cage good enough.
Q: We are wanting to get rid of old wood floors. We are debating tile vs. concrete finished floors. Pro/cons? What about cost difference.
Tile can cost from about $1 and sqaure foot plus, thinset and grout plus the cost to install it. If you do it yourself it's free of course if you hire someone then it can cost from about $2 a square foot on up. so, it depends on how manyh sqare feet you have. Concrete flooring looks okay. It has an industrial look. It cracks very often and costs around $3 a square foot according to a friend of mines estimate. I say go with tile. It's a lot easier to clean and more durable and lasts a lot longer.
Q: Once my hand accidentally touched the sun sun tiles, even by electricity a bit, but not small. Why is that? Explain the reason.
Electrostatic generation is to produce electricity on the surface of the insulator. The main material of the tile is silica, various metals and compounds, which are themselves bad conductors, and have many pores at the time of sintering. They easily absorb moisture to form conductors. Will gather the charge to produce static electricity. So you said the static electricity should be friction or what the surface of the material.
Q: Can I paint over the tiles? If so what kind of products would I use and how would I prep the tiles?
I wouldn't do it. You would either have to paint the grout, or put masking tape on the grout. Plus, as you point out, most paint won't stick to tile very well. There are some 2-part epoxy paints made for resurfacing sinks and tubs (white, almost always), but it's a fussy paint to work with, you need to prep the tile (sand it so it's not glossy), then mask the grout (probably). Edit: On 2nd thought, assuming the grout is white, you could also sand the tiles (for the paint to stick), and just paint using an oil-based primer. It will stick to the tile better than most paint. It might be a decent stop-gap until you have time to re-tile.
Q: How can the stickers on the tiles clean up?
Adhesive in addition to the dirt method 1. First attached to the surface of the stickers of tiles to tear off, with warm water (winter application of hot water) to wet the towel, stickers in the repeated wipe twice; With a warm and wet towel marked with soap, repeated in the traces of wiping several times; Finally, with a clean warm and wet towel to wipe the soap, stickers traces were removed. 2. with toothpaste evenly applied to the surface of stickers , A little bit for a while, and then wipe with a soft cloth, and sometimes more stickers, more solid, just did not remove the traces of re-applied toothpaste, the method remains the same, you can remove the headache stickers. The principle is that the toothpaste contains glycerol, is a good solvent, can dissolve the composition of stickers, while many cosmetics also contain glycerol, can also be used to remove the stickers. 3. Again: , Suitable for glass, floor tiles and other hard bottom; rub with alcohol, suitable for glass, floor tiles, clothing, etc .; frozen, self-adhesive after freezing hard, you can directly tear off, suitable for not using alcohol, And other methods.
