- i would say they MAY. in my 200 sx (basically a '96 sentra 4 cyl, 5 sp) i drove 300 miles in usa then added SOME gas additive in monterrey mexico and filled up on pemex. i would drive to 275 at the half-tank mark, (which i am acutely in tune with-as today, i hit 255 miles at the 1/2 and will get 502 miles and need 12.5 gals if i continue my work route) in usa it is difficult to hit 250 with highway driving at 70. last 3 years i drive 50-55 to get 40-44. on my return trip i used bardahl from mexico and in usa, on exxon gas, STILL COULD NOT get much past 250 at the 1/2. was it pemex or was it the additive?!? i used super nova and exxon supreme all the time. it is the mexican gas formula or the additive. next trip, i wil eliminate the additives and see! as far as oil additives, i don't think they are necessary. i am using a sm grade 10w40 in texas, castrol. any modern oil is sm, weight depends on your climate, but in russia i use 5w 40 half-synthetic lukoil. in texas, many swear by straight 30 weight, but not me. the additives are already in the oil and adding more is not necessary.

- They are basically fuel injector cleaners. AND YES they work to improve your MPG (if your injectors are clogged). But nobody uses those fuel additive for every tank (I often add about 1 or 2 tankful before the inspection). Forget all those SAVE GAS scams. This was on NBC morning TV show. The difference is as much as 38% (their claim). There are very simple rules to save gas: (1) drive slow - not too much past 55 (2) accelerate slowly (3) don't brake unnecessarily (4) use cruise control - whenever it is safe to do so. Don't coast - it is NOT safe and it does NOT save gas. The above really works. Using those simple rules I was able to drive from Boston to NYC (210.5 miles) on just 5.112 gallon (94 Civic). That's 41 MPG (94 Civic 187K miles). Actually I was speeding at 72 MPH so I could do even better at 55. WOW !! Assuming you are suffering from bad MPG. Get a tune up : (1) spark plugs (2) spark plug wires (3) coils, (4) distributors, (5) PCV, etc. (6) fuel injector (carb) cleaner - important Check your tire pressure. Get the ODB II scanned to see if it is reading and engine diag code. Sometime failing MAF sensor, O2 sensor or water temp sensor can kill your MPG. The water temp sensor is particularly cheap but a big MPG problem if it fails. The computer thinks that the engine has NEVER warmed and constantly run rich. And failed water temp sensor often does NOT create check engine light. As simple as that. Good Luck.

- All the regular admixtures can be used in concrete during either hot or cold weather. If you want to make concrete harden slower (hot weather) you would use a set retarder. As simple as cooling the concrete with ice or liquid nitrogen (which is cool as heck) or as complex as using chemicals that keep the cement particles from bonding, or even using less cement and more supplementary cementitious materials (fly ash, slag, rice hull ash, etc.). If you want to make the concrete harden faster (cold weather) you would use a set accelerator. As simple as heating the concrete with hot water or as complex as using chemicals that react with water to generate heat (calcium chloride, or a non-chloride accelerator if you have rebar in there).

- Root killer has to go into our lines because the lines will get half way stopped up. Water will come out onto the ground. And an odor will come up the drains. Rid x is put in 1 time a month. It eats the crap in the tank. It puts enzymes into the tank. If all this is not done the tank can back up into the house. We were lucky ours backed up into one of the bath tubs. Horrible. Bleach cleaned the tub. Bleach is not to be put in a septic tank.

Your hormones are at the strongest they'll be in your life, and they can definitely make you spaced out at times, as well as super emotional. Don't worry, your hormones will normalize and your emotions and brain will all settle down and start to work a lot better in a few short years!
