Excavators are used in many ways:
Digging of trenches, holes, foundations
Material handling
Brush cutting with hydraulic attachments
Forestry work
Forestry mulching
Demolition
General grading/landscaping
Mining, especially, but not only open-pit mining
River dredging
Driving piles, in conjunction with a pile driver
Drilling shafts for footings and rock blasting, by use of an auger or

Hydraulic drill attachment

Hydraulic excavator capabilities have expanded far beyond excavation tasks with buckets. With the advent of hydraulic-powered attachments such as a breaker, a grapple or an auger, the excavator is frequently used in many applications other than excavation. Many excavators feature a quick coupler for simplified attachment mounting, increasing the machine's utilization on the jobsite. Excavators are usually employed together with loaders and bulldozers. Most wheeled, compact and some medium-sized (11 to 18-tonne) excavators have a backfill (or dozer) blade. This is a horizontal bulldozer-like blade attached to the undercarriage and is used for levelling and pushing removed material back into a hole.

Q:Hey I am new to pokemon and I just made a deck. Here is one of the 3. My Donphan/Machop Deck.Pokemon---------------Machop x3Machoke x1Machamp x1Phanpy x3Donphan x3Meditite x2Medicham x1Sandshrew x3Sandslash x2Kabuto x1Kabutops x1Trainers/Supporters -------------Roseanne's Research x1Fieldworker x1Energy Search x2Rare Candy x2Pokeball x1Dusk Ball x1Team Galactic's Wager x1Bebe's Search x2Fossil Excavator x1Mary's Request x1Mysterious Fossil x2Switch x1Expert Belt x1Energys-----------------Fighting Energy x23
Based on the list provided, it cannot be accurately evaluated. When listing which Pokemon you're using, you should also list what set each Pokemon is from. Machamp, for example, has been in many many different sets, all with different attacks and abilities. So we have no way of evaluating your strategy with the deck or see any synergy between cards. I advice going through your list again and specifying which set each Pokemon is from.
Q:Hi, I'm in the Navy right now, but I really want to get into construction in the future when I get out, but I have no experience.I've heard that a good idea to get your foot in the door is to take a class to operate heavy equipment. I've researched a couple companies who do classes like that, like ATS, but most of them last months. I want to take classes like this, but I don't think I'll be able to take leave long enough to take one of these classes. Are there any other ways to get some lessons for equipment like dozers, graders, excavators, etc. in a shorter time period? Thanks.
I really don't know. However, please consider the economy right now; construction workers everywhere are being laid-off and many homeless. Otherwise, construction can be a very rewarding career, but maybe you should wait a yr or so and see how things shake out.
Q:I live in a condo complex. Four years ago there was an irrigation problem in front of my unit because my sidewalk was uneven. When it rained water would collect and cover the sidewalk. The board members at the time decided to cut corners and rather than raise the sidewalk, they simply punched 2-3quot; diameter holes in the cement (12 of them in a span of 10-15 feet!)...and now...there is no dirt under the sidewalk and when we have a good rain, water runs out from underneath the sidewalk and there's a moderate sized 'stream' that flows toward my porch. This stream has eroded ALL the soil from in front of my porch and I've lost several bushes because of it and my porch bricks are crumbling from the water damage. What type of contractor do I call to break up the old sidewalk, fill in the missing dirt and build a new sidewalk? What type of contractor would have the knowledge to fix this? A general contractor? Concrete guys? Landscapers? Plumber/excavators? Please help...
Call a general contractor, he can get everything else lined up. Chances are, if the city owns the sidewalk and there is an issue with dirt being washed out, the city will ahve to take a look at it before anything can be done anyway. If it is a private sidewalk, the GC can have all the crews lined up to fix everything. You have bigger problems than just losing bushes. If you have water leaking into your basement and the porch is sagging, your foundation is under attack. Get this taken care of ASAP.
Q:I have a glass cage that's 36quot; long, 29quot; tall and 15quot; deep and I was wondering if I could put a couple leopards in here or would it be too tall? I have a big branch that goes from the bottom to the top and I was gonna put excavator clay in for him to climb also.
For two FEMALE adult leopard geckos, that's a good cage. Make sure you watch for bullying and make sure they're both getting enough to eat. Provide them with several different hides, as well, not just the 3 necessary hides (hot, cool, humid). I wouldn't recommend having the big branch in there, as they could fall and injure themselves. They do climb, but not very well. The excavator clay can also be a pain in the butt to work with. Not only is it messy, but it can collapse if it gets too dry and small amounts can still get ingested. Since it's clay, it can easily impact a leopard gecko even in small amounts. Stick to something solid such as tile, linoleum, vinyl, paper towels, newspaper, or butcher paper.
Q:I purchased a S corp thru a stock purchase agreement. Included in the corporation were 2 tractors and an excavator. Can I write-off any of my purchase price of this corporation? Tractors and excavator? They are part of the corporation.
You can depreciate them over their remaining useful lives at their market value when purchased.
Q:i already have reptile carpet but it smells! i want something cheap and something that doesnt smell bad. and yes, i know not to use sand. how about clay? or any other suggestions?
maximum fabric has a combustion warmth of over 2 hundred stages, so until eventually your heater is greater suitable than two times as warm because it meant to be (ensuing in an exceedingly crispy gecko) you will no longer have a difficulty with it. That stated, maximum fabric can't be the appropriate absorbency on your gecko, and it is going to start smelling very at present. i might propose paper towels or reptile carpet. you may desire to even bypass with tile out of your community ironmongery shop in case you're finding for something with a splash greater ornament. in no way use a loose substrate like bark or sand, because of the fact the gecko can consume it and alter into very sick. wish this replaced into effective!
Q:Stumps, 3ft diameter rocks, plenty of large pines, etc. Cleared, leveled and made ready to turn into a yard... any idea? Heard somewhere around $8,000 an acre.... Any excavators or landscape construction or loggers/ landowners inputs would be appreciated.

Way too many colors. Top out at 3 different colors, then trim out crap like Seascape Aerialist, Nimana Sellsword, and Tuktuk Grunts.
Q:So about 2 weeks ago I bought zoo meds excavator for my leopard gecko, and as soon as I put him in it, he started to lick the remainder of it on the glass off, like he enjoyed its taste. He stopped eating, almost like impaction, and I noticed his poop is brown in color like the clay. Help! I noticed his ear holes are starting to close up and he is not looking good. I need a quick answer on what to do?!
The clay is not good for her to eat. If you think that she may be Impacted you need to that him to the Vet.
Q:And replanted if it takes a few weeks to complete and it's the middle of winter (i.e., Jan/Feb) in New England?
Yes, but it may add to the cost. Have them dug with an excavator and placed out of the way and all together. Cover the roots with bark, straw, peat or something similar. Cover with a tarp. Even better, see if you can locate a tree spade truck (unless plants are right against the house). When returned to the soil, they will need a well prepared hole with appropriate fertilizer, they will need staking, water, and may need pruning to balance the top to the diminished roots. Not all will survive but most should.
