Q: We are having an excavator come and rip out our back yard to make it level and finally have grass growing where pine trees once stood. The excavator is recommending that we mulch the old lawn and put it back into the ground, underneath our new sod and irrigation system. I can understand the organic material aspect of it, but wouldn't that just encourage the crab grass to come back? Also, with the old pine needles, wouldn't that add too much acid and kill the new sod? I am confused. Also a little weirded out because our wonderful dog likes to eat socks and other unmentionables, wouldn't that also end up under our new lawn? GOTTA love home improvement!: I would till in the old lawn, which will provide some nourishment for the new sod. I wouldn't focus so much on the old weeds you are tilling in, more so focus on keeping your grass healthy, regular fertilizing, proper watering, and aerating. Crabgrass like to grow in undisturbed soil, a lawn is a great example, aerating can help cut down on that. Keeping your lawn healthy and thick, (occasional overseeding if necessary) will prevent the weeds from growing. Good luck :)

Q: It's in a mobile home park and everything is on one meter. We can't hear anything or see any water yet the water meter is running rapidly. I need to get this repaired right away. I've called several excavators in town but they are backed up. How can I isolate or what ever I need to do to find this leak?: Well, you're going to have to do some digging. Obviously you can start at the meter and work your way toward where the pipe goes into the house, if you don't see and hear water running inside your place then the leak will be underground. When you find it, take pictures of what you've found, the utility where I live will give you a pass or at least a reduction on a big bill if you can show you had a leak.

Q: Ok well I wanna get a really good inground pool,not the best most expenive one they have but really close. I want it to be big and atleast 8 feet deep. it has 2 have a diving board,slide,and zacozey spa,and a fountain would be cool too. Q: Hi, Question may sound dumb, but im only asking. How would they load, lets say a fire truck or an excavator into a cargo plane? And where would they do it, I couldnt imagine them loading up an a taxiway. Basically i want to know what happens from when you arrange to have the vehicle flown out to when the vehicle is at its destination. Thanks.: Large military cargo aircraft do this all the time. It's nothing special, and it usually is done on the tarmac at an airport or military base. They just drop the aircraft's loading ramp and drive the vehicles on board. You might want to research aircraft like the C-5a Galaxy, C-17 Globemaster or even the C-130 Hercules
