Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

I tend to go for classic thrash metal (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath), and recently I've listened to some doom metal songs (Candlemass, Lamented Souls). I love how those guys (in doom) sing! Can be done many different ways. Hot working is defined as working the metal at the recrystallization temperature (the temperature at which a cold worked structure will be fully recrystallized in 1 hour). As a rule of thumb, the rexstal temp is one half the absolute melting point for pure metals (the homologous temperature). This rule of thumb can be off significantly when you are dealing with alloys, particularly highly alloyed compositions. In these cases, the alloying can increase the recrystallization temperature and, therefore, require higher temperatures to achieve hot working. Hope this helps.

Q:black metal, death metal, doesn't matter: metals are found in ores. these ore are comprised of other various elements ( like oxygen, sulfur, etc). for the metal extraction, the ore needs to be crushed, then frothed, then left to react with dilute acid, then smelted . ores can be found on the surface of the earths crust or deep in the earths crust. their is also a high percentage of iron in the mantle, outer core and inner core of the earth.
